Flavours of our City Food Walk - We usually do a food tour of a new city so we can find museums, shops, bars or restaurants that we might not find. Sarah our guide was excellent. A font of knowledge about the city, it's history and a very wide range of things we were looking for. Without her we would not have gone to Caretakers a surprising below ground cellar like speakeasy, Rodd and Gunn Lounge were we had the most fantastic meal in a non Michelin restaurant, The Hotel De Brett which is an absolute gym of a bar and quite eatery set in the art decor style or Mezze another very different eating experience. Can't recommend her tour any more highlight and one of the best we have had in our many travels.

A Deliciously Insightful Walk Through Auckland with an Incredible Guide - If you’re considering the Flavours of our City Food Walk in Auckland, we highly recommend it — especially if you’re lucky enough to have Alex as your guide. Her deep passion for New Zealand’s culinary scene and culture transforms the experience into more than just a food tour—it’s an immersive journey through Auckland’s vibrant flavors and stories. Alex’s enthusiasm is infectious, and her knowledge of the city’s hidden gems and food history adds a rich layer to the tour. She introduced us to a diverse array of local eateries, from artisan producers to sweet treat spots, culminating in a relaxing wine or beer tasting. Her ability to weave in cultural insights and personal anecdotes made the tour both informative and entertaining. What stood out most was Alex’s genuine connection to the city and its food culture. She didn’t just guide us through the streets—she welcomed us into the heart of Auckland’s culinary community. Her thoughtful recommendations extended beyond the tour and were incredibly helpful for the rest of our stay. Whether you’re a foodie, a culture lover, or simply curious about Auckland’s local flavor, this tour is a must. It’s a delicious, engaging, and heartwarming experience. 5 stars – Highly recommended!

Wonderful food tour of Auckland with a great guide - thanks Alex! - My wife and I did this tour within hours of arriving in New Zealand, and were so glad we did. Alex's introduction to Kiwi food and culture, Auckland in particular, was great. She was extra thoughtful of keeping us as dry as possible too!
