What a view of the city! - What a view at night of the Auckland skyline. Perfect evening out on the water. Sunset was great. Overall, a perfect way to spend our last evening in New Zealand.

A night on the harbour! - So much fun! We really lucked out with the weather and had a wonderful (but chilly) evening on the water in this beautiful sailboat. Peter the captain was friendly and laid back, and his two-person crew took good care of us, serving food and drink, while also tending to the boat. We did go down in the cabin to eat dinner as it was dark and we thought it would be easier, but remained topside for the rest of the meal and sailing. We had fantastic night views of the Auckland skyline and sailed under the lit up bridge. The food was good and filled us up. If you want something a little different from the typical “dinner cruise,” this is it!

I'll give that a go... if I have to - A sunny day that turned showery as we prepared to board but this didn't deter us or the operator. Showers cleared to an awesome evening with spectacular views and a great meal to enjoy. Peter and the crew were informative and encouraged everyone to feel at home. We had one reluctant child but she had the 'best time EVER' and the memories will remain with us all for a long time.

Views are Amazing - Sail left the harbor downtown and went out on the water for about 3 hours. Food was pretty good and the views watching the sunset was amazing. Would definitely recommend if you want some peace on the water.

Lovely experience - Excellent way to spend our last evening in Aukland. Gorgeous sail very good food and Captain Peter and his crew were wonderful. Highly recommend as a lovely way to see the sunset and skyline in the evening

Great views, don’t go for the food - The views from the boat, before and after sunset are spectacular. The skipper was outstanding, knowledgeable, kind and got people engaged with the experience. The staff great, always helpful. The interior of the boat feels dated, and could use some refurbishing. The food wasn’t good in the opinion of the 4 in our group.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY - This is a horrible company to deal with. I was really looking forward to this excursion and we flew 17 hours to get to Auckland and then drove to the Harbor and got a room, only to get to the kiosk and find out I had mis-booked the date (yes, I know it was my mistake...but still, we all make mistakes). There was absolutely no compassion or willingness to work with me to reschedule or get any sort of refund. They were very rude and wouldn't even refund the upgrade to the more expensive drink package. I do understand that they had purchased the food so I didn't expect them to refund that portion of the ticket, but they didn't spend the money on the wine package so that would have been a small concession to make, to show good will. I travel often and around the world but I will NEVER again book with Explore New Zealand.
