New Years eve on the harbour - This cruise was part of a xmas gift for my daughter and her partner. They absolutely enjoyed the cruise. First time on a boat for her partner.

Amazing start to adventures - Yesterday the winds were high, was afraid they were going to cancel, but they did not. The water was very choppy, but overall the experience of learning about New Zealand, the different bass and seeing the lighthouse and learning about how they tried to do the breakers for the land and about the volcano, it was amazing. Just learning some history on the island.

Relaxing cruise - Nice overview of the Auckland harbour area. Can't expect too much from an inexpensive harbour cruise, but the seats were comfortable, the commentary was clear, and the cruise was relaxing.

Enjoyable 90 minutes on the water - We really enjoyed the tour. Great guide and some good views of local landmarks, including an old lighthouse, the port, Rangitoto, Devonport and the yachts.

Beware Viator ticket instructions - Standing near the front of the queue pre-boarding only to be told that we were required to have printed tickets because they could not scan from a mobile phone!
I had to little time to run to the Fuller ticket office and obtain printed tickets.
Your ticket instructions are incorrect!

A little underwhelming - Seating on deck is restricted, so you have little option other than to sit indoors. Problem with that, is they don’t clean the windows, so you get a murky view of the Auckland skyline.
The commentary from the staff member is pretty good and they do come amongst the passengers and answer any questions you may have.

Avoid if possible - The live commentary is someone reading a script. I was as interested as the person reading it. Hard to see through salt streaked windows inside. All commentary began with “on your right ahead of us” and I was sitting on the left. They didn’t fix a speaker problem until 20min into the journey. Kiss goodbye to a lot of money unless you get a prime spot on the right and outside and if you can hear anything.
