• Westhaven Marina - Located in Auckland, New Zealand, Westhaven Marina is the largest yacht marina in the Southern Hemisphere. With nearly two thousand berths and swing moorings, it is often fully booked. Auckland, known as the ‘City of Sails’, is renowned for its maritime enthusiasm.
• Tamaki Drive - Experience a coastal drive through Kohimarama, Mission Bay, and Tamaki Drive before heading to Auckland’s west coast. Arriving at Mission Bay around lunchtime provides a chance to explore a fantastic array of cafes and restaurants, enjoy the east coast beaches, or take a scooter ride along Auckland’s Waterfront.
• Bastion Point - Bastion Point offers stunning views over the Hauraki Gulf and Waitematā Harbour, as well as back to central Auckland. It’s one of the top spots in Auckland for skyline and harbour photography. Its strategic position overlooking the harbour made it an ideal defense point for the city. The Māori name for this area is Takaparawhā. This picturesque area includes the Savage Memorial, honoring Michael Joseph Savage, one of New Zealand’s most cherished prime ministers.
• Achilles Point - Originally named Te Pane o Horoiwi (the head of Horoiwi) due to its Maori history, Achilles Point was renamed by the council in 1940 to honor the New Zealand-crewed ship HMS Achilles. The HMS Achilles defeated the German cruiser Graf Spee in the 1939 Battle of the River Plate, the first major naval battle of World War II. Achilles Point offers spectacular views of the Waitemata Harbour and the Gulf Islands. While not a venue for activities, the views are truly breathtaking.
• Auckland Domain - Beyond its beautiful surroundings, Auckland Domain surprises visitors with its vastness and numerous lovely spots to relax. A duck pond with a fountain adds to the charm, delighting the ducks. The excellent Auckland Museum is also located within Auckland Domain. Sitting on the green grass surrounded by pink flowers, one can hear the birds and feel the gentle breeze.
• Devonport - Cross the Auckland Harbour Bridge and enjoy 360-degree views of the city en route to Auckland’s North Shore. Take in more stunning views of Auckland city and the Hauraki Gulf from North Head. Drive through Victorian suburbs and bustling shopping centers, and travel northwest to discover culture, creativity, adventure, fine food, and wine.

• Tours are suitable for people of all ages and average fitness. Our scenic walks are short and optional. Please let our guide know at check in if you have any fitness concerns.
• The Gannets nesting season is from August/September until March/April, you might find some off season too but it’s not 100% guaranteed.
• Please dress with an additional layer of clothing (in winter months) & closed toe footwear.
• Please note that the visit to Muriwai Gannet Colony & black sand beach is suspended until further notice due to damages caused to Muriwai’s west coast due to surface flooding and large slips.
