The Greatest Joy walking with Joy - had such a wonderful time on this walking tour. Our guide, Joy, was an absolutely wonderful guide it was clear that she had a passion for what she does - knows the history of the area and MLK very well and we thought she told the stories of his life and presence in Atlanta with great skill such that we were deeply moved by the end of tour. We appreciate that she gave us some extra time and will definitely book future tours with the unexpected folks - especially the food tour. Thank you Joy! See you next time :)

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this informative historic tour chronicling the life of Dr. King and Atlanta’s history. - My husband and I, long-time Atlantans, took our visiting 9 and 12 yo grandsons. We all learned so much from our well-informed and entertaining guide, Nic. The tour was on foot and chronicled the history of Dr. King and Atlanta. Nic was careful to assure that we remained comfortable on a hot morning, by stopping in shady spots when it was time for a lengthy explanation. Re: tour content, I was impressed with the detail as well as the way it was organized.

Excellent experience - This MLK Walking Tour was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, the guide was knowledgeable, passionate, and truly brought history to life. Walking in the footsteps of Dr. King and learning the deeper stories behind the landmarks was both moving and enlightening. The tour was well-paced, informative, and deeply respectful of the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement. I left feeling inspired, educated, and grateful. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting—it’s a must-do in the city!

Informative and fun tour - Joy was a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide. The stops were all planned out well (including a short break from the heat with a cold water) and we all walked away with new knowledge. Would highly recommend. We learned so much more this way rather than just touring the sites ourselves.

Fantastic Guide, Fascinating Area - Kristen was an amazing guide! She brought the legacy of MLK Jr. alive and showed the connections between his legend and the Sweet Auburn community. We would recommend this tour and would seek out Kristen to do it again! We'll worth the money and time!

This tour is one of the best I’ve ever been on! - I learned so much about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on this walking tour! I almost walked the sites solo, but I would not have gotten as much out of that experience. Zoe was very knowledgeable, inspirational, and entertaining. I would, hands down, take this tour again!

All the MLK history in one package - Jen was a great and educational tour guide and she packed a lot into about two hours and 45 minutes. The map and sticker connection was very orienting and we even stopped at a nice coffee shop.
