10/10 Would Recommend to ALL Our Local Friends! - 10/10 Our tour guide Courtney had so much ENERGY! She breathed life into every historical story she told. We’re locals (just outside Atlanta), but we felt completely transported to another place. We learned SO much and would recommend this tour and Courtney again!

Excellent tour guide, Paris. Recommend this tour! - We really enjoyed our tour with our excellent guide, Paris. Food was delicious and some of the Atlantans in our group had never experienced some of the places we tried - not to mention the visitors among us. The cemetery tour and ATL history was informative and fun.

A fun time was had by all - Arielle was a perfect tour guide, ask for her tour if you can. She brought history to life and melded our group of 11 people (adults and children) with her friendly and outgoing personality. We stopped at Six Feet Under for shrimp and grits, trout fingers, and fried okra. Then we walked around town and through Oakland Cemetery. I've been to the cemetery many times but found a new occupant: Kenny Rogers! Next we stopped at Firepit Pizza Tavern where we ate the most delicious steak pizza and pork belly toast. Finally we stopped at the busiest bakery in town, The Little Tart Bakeshop, for to go chocolate chip cookies and apple turnovers. It was a very fun outing and educational as well.

Excellent Tour - The Grant Park Food and History Tour was one of the best things we did in Atlanta. Booking was super easy and everyone we dealt with at Unexpected Atlanta was friendly and accommodating. Communication on the day was excellent, with our fantastic tour guide, Leigh, texting us with the start time and exact location 15 minutes before the tour began. We really enjoyed learning about the history of Atlanta from Leigh who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Oakland Cemetery was beautiful and it was really interesting to learn about its history. Let's not forget about the food, wow!!! Grits, fried ochra, corn stew, gourmet pizza, pastries and a fabulous cocktail, it was all so yummy. I recommend this tour without hesitation, you will love it!
