Great experience. Highly recommended! - I loved my experience at Soybird. My husband and I booked a class during a trip we took to Athens for my birthday. It could not have been a better way to celebrate! Our instructor was warm, welcoming, and made the group of strangers feel like a family by the end. Instruction was delivered in English so it was easy for my husband and me to follow along. The food was delicious and the studio was equipped with everything we needed. Also, the recipes are not so complicated that I can't replicate them at home.

Amazing! - This cooking class was fantastic! Everything we made was so delicious and definitely things you could also make back home. The environment was very relaxed with a fun group dinner to enjoy everything that was prepared. I’d highly recommend this class to anyone looking to learn new vegan recipes or just have a fun dinner out. Mirka was our instructor and she was 💯. Loved everything about this experience!

Amazing food and lots of fun - Chef Alexandra was incredible! She effortlessly managed each of us, miraculously orchestrating strangers to make 6 different recipes. She took our blunders in stride with a smile. Recipes were clear, ingredients were ready before we began, the store ins. Immaculate. This was an absolute pleasure, one of my favorite parts of our stay in Athens.

Fun with Greek Cooking! - Mirka was an excellent cooking coach and a gracious host. We took traditional Greek dishes and adapted them to make them vegan. Mira helped us with the recipes and was charming and friendly. We learned so much about her and our German classmates, and the dishes we created made a wonderful dinner!! This was an excellent experience that I would highly recommend.

A great evening of food and culture. - A great atmosphere was created as we all participated in the making of a dinner. This was followed by its happy consumption. A perfect way to spend an evening.

A deliciously entertaining way to make new friends and classic Greek dishes! - I've been vegan for 11 years at the time of writing, and wanted to take this class to try vegan versions of old Greek classics that I've grown up with and loved. I came with my friend who has much more culinary expertise than I do. We both had a wonderful time throughout the class, our instructor Mirka was a pleasure to learn from, and these delicious recipes will certainly be made by my friend and I in the future!

Cooking Vegan popular Greek dishes! - The vegan Greek food we made was awesome! I am the only one in our family of 4 taking the class that is actually vegan. But everyone was very impressed with the moussaka; “ meatballs” made from Kidney beans; taziki; eggplant dip & fava hummus; feta cheese made from almond pulp left over from making almond milk; a wonderful Greek salad w/ our feta and a delicious custard dessert made using the almond milk! I can’t rave enough about Alexandra, for her patience and generous guidance as we made our way through the recipes! The food, and cooking experience w/ Alexandra was a definite highlight of all the experiences we had in Greece! I highly recommend Soybird cooking classes & will definitely take another when I go back to Athens! MaryAnn Teutsch

Not what I expected from a cooking class, should have been less items and a group of two people all make the same thing - I felt it was a bit disorganized. Too many things to make. I thought we get to make each item. We were assigned a recipe and that’s what you made. No real guidance. I wanted to learn to make spinach pie and tzatziki but that was assigned to other people at end of table. Seemed everyone had to keep asking the one instructor for help so need to wait for her. Food turn out good, but experience not what I expected
