- The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus - Proceed to Epidaurus to visit the ancient theatre. This UNESCO World Heritage-listed monument is believed to be the birthplace of Apollo’s son Asklepios, the healer, and was the most renowned healing center of the classical world. Epidaurus is perhaps best known for its theatre, one of the best-preserved classical Greek structures, still in use today due to its exceptional acoustics. The Argolis (Mycenae - Epidaurus) day tour concludes with a return to Athens in the late afternoon.

This was such a great... - This was such a great tour! Our guide Simon was so knowledgeable and very nice. We saw so many sites and learnt so much.

Enjoyable Trip to Mycenae and Epidaurus - The hotel pick up and drop off really helped with our overall logistics. The bus, the bus driver, and the guide were all excellent. The locations we visited were very good. After 1 hour of driving we stopped at Corinth Canal, built in 19th century to connect the Aegean with the Adriatic sea. About 30 minutes later we reached Mycenae where we visited the ancient theatre of Epidaurus and the Sanctuary of Asclepiusan, essentially the hospital of that time. Since we had visited Pergamum's (in Turkey) Asclepion two weeks prior, this was very interesting to us. We had lunch and free time in Nafplio, a lovely, walkable location. We packed a lunch and enjoyed it on a seaside park bench, followed a lovely walk, then Italian gelato. So perfect. Next we visited the Tomb of Agamemnon, was very enjoyable. The bus ride back to Athens was pleasant, the traffic was not too bad (it's Athens...) and overall a very good day.

Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Nafplio - This was an amazing tour to Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Nafplio. The bus was very comfortable. Our guide (Irene) was simply amazing with her knowledge. I was really looking forward to Mycenae, which were so impressive, but I was really surprised with Epidaurus and how much there was there to see and what that site represented. And Nafplio was a fun stop and very beautiful.

Very interesting - The theatre of Epidaurus was very impressive.
But the ruins of Mycenae were the most interesting and Nikos provided a lot of information about the site. The restaurant choice in Napfloi was very good.

Check with vendor on accurate details! - The info on the website wasn’t accurate. It says it picks up at hotels, it didn’t; it says it drops off at several locations (10ish), it dropped off at three. It advertises an option that includes lunch and tickets to enter sites but when you purchase the tour, those are not included.
The trip itself was good, a little short of time in a few places. The guide did a good job and was very pleasant. The van was pretty cramped with no room for backpacks and very little leg room for such a long ride.

Bad management, can't complete all programs - Bad management. They ask me to board the bus at another place while they can pick other passengers just opposite my hotel.
At the office where everybody is gathering, boarding for each tours are so confusing.
Worst lunch I had with tours. They offer just a piece of deep-fried vegetable, green salad and low quality meatball as a main course. Other guests who choose a fish, they received an ugly Sardines dish.
No Palamidi fort visit as mentioned in the program. No city tour at Nafplion. Just a very rush lunch, that's it!
When guests asked TL about selection of lunch, he said it's not part of his job to know the selection. There's another way he could reply more politely.
I recommend you to go with another company but not Key Tours.

Tour cancelled by operator the night before after 8:00pm - Wish I was able to actually go on the Sunday September 8, 2024 tour. My credit card was charged for the tour on Friday morning. The tour operator sent me a message that the pick up location has been changed to a near by hotel. On Saturday after 8:00pm at night (less than 11 hours before pickup time on Sunday morning), the tour operator sent me a message that the tour would not take place with no explanation. Very disappointed. It would have been nice to have been notified during the day so we could have made other arrangements. Very unprofessional to cancel a tour that late the night before
