• Nafplio - Next, head to Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece, a town rich in history and charm. Admire the views of Bourtzi, the iconic fortified islet in the port, before dining at a traditional restaurant.
• The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus - Proceed to Epidaurus to visit the ancient theatre. This UNESCO World Heritage-listed monument is believed to be the birthplace of Apollo’s son Asklepios, the healer, and was the most renowned healing center of the classical world. Epidaurus is perhaps best known for its theatre, one of the best-preserved classical Greek structures, still in use today due to its exceptional acoustics. Alternatively, enjoy a tranquil walk through the small forest adjacent to the theatre or relax with a coffee or tea, savoring the sounds of nature. The day tour concludes with a return to Athens in the late afternoon.
