Everything was just wonderful! - «How to Hold Up the Sky?» If you've ever wondered about that, then Meteora is the place for you. Here, towering rock giants float in midair, and monasteries seem just moments away from breaking free and soaring into the heavens—much like the souls of the monks who once prayed within their walls. Our guide for the day was the energetic, charismatic, and downright (pardon the celestial forces) brilliant Riki. She didn’t just lead us through the monasteries—she unraveled an ancient mystery with us: how these rock formations came to be, who first dared to climb them, and how on earth monasteries were built in places where even birds hesitate to land. As a delightful bonus, we got to sample some local culinary magic—tender beef stewed in a rich tomato sauce, a fresh salad with local cheese, and the intriguing Mastiha liqueur. The latter, by the way, carries a taste that feels like a secret whispered by the mountains themselves: slightly resinous, slightly sweet, like a memory you don’t want to fade. So if you’re heading to Meteora, grab your ticket, charge your camera for an endless stream of breathtaking shots, trust Riki, and be ready to leave a piece of your heart floating somewhere between these skybound cliffs.

Meteora a beautiful trip - The trip was amazing. The views were spectacular. And the bus driver, & Tour Guide couldn’t have been more accommodating. Also, I had an experience where I left my purse at one of the stops and the bus driver and Anastasia at the office went out of their way to find it and get it back to me the next day. They were a life saver. Amazing company.

Great value and a dedicated guide - Good value for the money. A dedicated guide (Eva) and surprisingly good food at a tavern. Several photo stops so you don't miss the opportunity to take great pictures.

Far exceeded my expectations! - We had a pleasant bus trip to our destination which included two stops for snacks and bathroom breaks as well as lunch. Our lunch was authentic Greek fare & was well prepared. The staff was friendly and the food was great. During our tour we had a well informed and friendly guide Eva was able to answer our questions and did so in a friendly manner. She made us feel welcomed. We were amazed at the beauty of the region as well as the history. We took many, many photos and I highly recommend this day trip to Meteora.

Visit the meteor - The tour is top, good bus, attentive guide, punctual schedule and tasty lunch. However, due to the distance you leave early from Athens and visit the place in the afternoon, then in general the photo points are in the direction of the sun, which is difficult to take a cool photo.

A Day of Wonders and Wanderings in Mycenae and Epidaurus - This tour was a fantastic opportunity to explore some of Greece’s most remarkable historical sites, including Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Nafplio. From start to finish, our driver George and our guide, also named George, made the journey pleasant and smooth. Both were incredibly easy to work with, approachable, and helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance. A highlight for me was the archaeological site of Mycenae, particularly the breathtaking view from the mountain top. Be prepared, though—the climb is quite challenging, and it's crucial to keep an eye on the time to ensure you return to the bus promptly. This location alone made the entire day worthwhile. However, it's important to understand that this isn't your traditional guided tour. Instead, it relies heavily on a smartphone-based VR audioguide. The VR element, while innovative, felt slightly gimmicky at times. The role of our guide, George, primarily involved ensuring everyone reached each destination on schedule, rather than offering detailed commentary. One area that could be significantly improved was clarity regarding navigation once off the bus. There were multiple instances where I felt a bit lost and frustrated, uncertain about exactly where to go. Instructions were not clear, and since participants move individually rather than in a guided group, it sometimes became stressful figuring out the correct path. Overall, if you prefer a more independent style of exploration, you'll thoroughly enjoy this tour. Just be prepared to handle navigation independently. Despite a few hiccups, I genuinely enjoyed the experience and would recommend it for those who appreciate autonomy during their travels.
