LOVELY EVENING IN PLAKA - We had a lovely night at a Plaka Taverna with greek dinner and a wonderful performance with several greek musicians, singers and dancers. We really enjoyed and they are all very professional.

Good dance show, mediocre food and nice Athens by night tour - The dance show was good with many different kinds of local greek dances with traditional costumes. We were very happy with the performances. The food on the other hand was just ok and nothing special. But it didn't bother us, as the dance show was the most important thing for us. There was also a nice tour around the city before the dinner show. We were able to see the most famous monuments of Athens lit at night, which was beautiful and a nice activity for our first night in the city.

The dancing. I wish there... - The dancing. I wish there was more dancing and less time with the singers. We enjoyed it but it had start before we got there and we left while they were still performing.

Dance - The entertainment was absolutely fabulous different traditional dances live music and singing. There was no information on the description about a tour about 1 1/2 hours driving around the town we didn’t need a tour bus taking that long before getting to our destination food was bellow average we had been in Greece for 2 weeks and had all different kinds of food in different places so definitely below average and we shared our appetizers and salads with another couple we didn’t know which was very unpleasant and made all of us uncomfortable

Bad experience - Dancing was great! But band too loud, couldn’t hear singer. Food was fine. Pick up needs to improve. Tour only thinks you stay at hotels. No place to put in address for appt rental pickup. Choose someone else.

We were scheduled to be... - We were scheduled to be picked up at our hotel but instead was directed to walk two blocks through heavy traffic (tour guide literally stopped traffic). Once on the bus it took over two hours to reach the restaurant. The bus had to make several other stops to pick up guests and drove to the acropolis and a couple other attractions and let folks out to get pictures. Once we finally arrived in Plaka we were escorted through alley ways to the restaurant. The dancing was nice, but the dinner was a piece of chicken, some rice and some potatoes. There were some appetizers prior to dinner. What I expected from the description of the tour was seeing Plaka and walking around but we only saw the alley way and restaurant. There was no mention of site seeing as the places the bus stopped, we had already visited early that day.

Worst tour ever by far - It says it start at 8 pm. It started at 9:15 pm The tour guide, while speaking thru the mic, it was impossible to hear her. People asked to speak louder and it was still bad We were packed in a locale like sardines. There was absolutely no room even to eat White wine was warm. I am absolutely positive that a fire department of any county in the US would shut down the place due to lack of security/safety. A few positives: good show but not great and good food but not great either. If you want to waste your money, this would be a fabulous way to do it

Our guide Maria, was... - Our guide Maria, was extremely rude, her historical knowledge was limited, and she spent most of her time complaining about the British. At the venue the staff were at the best surly. The show had already begun, and most of the audience left after about 30 minutes. The dancers were excellent, hence the 1 star, and deserve better than this bunch of chancers. I would advise any couple planning a night out in Athens to send the 138 Euros elsewhere.
