Amazing tour - This was a brilliant trip! The tour guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable - she really tied together the architectural site and the contents of the museum, and was a great storyteller! I would definitely recommend this trip!!

Worth the (long) ride - Having a somewhat scattered knowledge of Greek mithology, visiting Delfos helped me fixate and better structure bits and pieces of information I already had, other than learning new, interesting details. The views at the ruins are breathtaking, and the museum is a good complement to the visit. Our guide Sofia was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Must see trip to Delphi - Elaina gave us a great tour of Delphi. It is a very long day but Frlphi is worth it. The museum was a big surprise and very enlightening. I wish we had time to go walk to the stadium but it is hard to do everything on such a long day. Because of road closures, we had to go to a different restaurant for lunch and the food was ok but not great. Elaina was very thorough on her presentation and details that she provided on the Oracle. We are very glad that we took the trip.

Relaxing Experience - We've done group tours throughout the world. This was a great experience overall. With these types of tours, you can relax and let the guide and driver take care of the planning. Eleni was our guide, and she was highly informative. She let you relax on the drive instead of talking the entire trip. The driver was awesome. He navigated the large bus through the tiny, mountain roads of Greece expertly. We got the prepaid lunch. They accommodated our food issues (vegan and gluten free). You could also not do the prepaid and order off the menu, or find another restaurant in town. What was different from other tours we have had is that except for the town stop, you stay with the guide as she explains what you're seeing.

beautiful, interesting and fun tour. great tour guide and overall a good experience - Wonderful tour! Our guide was considerate, professional and very knowledgeable. The tour was interesting and the views were amazing. The drive was comfortable and nice (and educational). The only downside was that due to the bus deadline we didn't get a lot of time to wander through the historical site on our own. But still, very recommended

A Not to Miss Experience!!!!! - Elena was informed, smart, and studied. This made the experience 100% more valuable. She was also flexible with the traffic mess. Now I want a scholar on every museum visit.😭😭😭😭 Domic was a damn good driver. I sat behind him and I don't know how he did it.

I regret booking this tour - This is honestly the first time I've actually been stressed about leaving a review for anything. I'll start with the good. Because the locations and timing of the tour were great and the lunch stop was delicious. If it wasn't for the guide on this tour, I probably would have rated this a 4 or a 5. And if it wasn't for the locations, I probably would have rated this a 1. I'm going to be completely bluntly honest. I am a cancer patient and was still recovering from my treatment when my husband and I went on our vacation. I was looking forward to the time on the bus, thinking it would give me time to rest between stops so that I could regain some energy and still be able to enjoy Delphi and our walk around Arachova. We were one of the first ones on the bus, and selected a seat near the front. When our guide started the tour, he immediately started by saying (what I assume was a joke) that there would be no sleeping on the bus, gestured at the area of seats we were sitting in, and said that the no sleeping went especially for those of us in the first six rows (nearest to him) because if he caught us sleeping, it would be "death." I say, after the fact, that this was a joke, but in those first few minutes of the tour, we didn't know the guide enough to know his sense of humor or anything about him, so my first reaction was panic. I actually started crying when I looked to my husband to tell him that I didn't know what to do because I NEEDED to be able to sleep on the bus or I wasn't going to have the energy to do the tour. My husband told me it was okay and that if I needed to sleep, I needed to sleep, but I was so worried that the guide would get upset with me if I fell asleep, or that he would somehow turn my sleeping into a joke and I'd be the laughing stock of the entire group for falling asleep, so I made myself stay awake for the first few hours until I just absolutely couldn't stay awake any longer. But the guide's jokes about sleeping on the bus continued all day, so I never did feel comfortable the entire time. The guide also repeatedly told us about how someone had left a review about him talking too much and he'd gotten in trouble for it, repeatedly telling us that we "better not leave a review saying that he talked too much." The problem is... he DID talk too much. He was very knowledgeable and had a lot of interesting information, but he NEVER stopped talking the entire tour, from the moment the bus left to the moment the bus returned. But it was like the guide was telling us no sleeping on the bus (I really didn't appreciate the statement of sleeping being "death" to those of us in the first six rows) but also kind of "jokingly" threatening us to get us to not leave a review about how much he talked on the tour. So, I'm sure if he sees this review, I'll be the one he makes fun of on his next tour while he threatens his next group, but I have to be honest, because it just was not an enjoyable tour with him as the lead. As the tour went on, we started to get a little more acquainted with the guide's sense of humor, but there were still several things that were just in poor taste and made us uneasy, and because of that, I don't think I'll ever book another #tag Athens tour again.
