Faraones Meteora Trip - Hotel was very nice, although not in the town of Kalambaka. Guide was very informative and did not rush us in the sites visited. Both Delphi and Meteora are definitely worth the long bus ride.

Surprisingly excellent! - We are not usually big bus tourists but time was short so this seemed like the best option and it was pretty great. It was a lot of time on the bus but scenery was good and stops were interspersed appropriately. Our guides were knowledgeable and engaged. The overnight accommodation was high quality as was the buffet style dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended!

Means to an End - There is no doubt that Delphi and Meteora are amazing destinations with great history and fantastic vistas. It is a long way from Athens and this mass-tourist experience is fair way of seeing them at a reasonable price. Our guide for the Meteora was great.

Could be better - Our guide, Jordan, for Delphi was not good but our guide, Kenya (sp?) for Meteora was good. Jordan was not able to explain things that well and he could not tie the history together. It felt like he was rambling on. Plus, he smelled and also did not explain how lunch would work for those of us continuing on to Meteora. We ended up buying lunch at Delphi but had we known lunch would be at the next stop, we could have gone to the museum. For Meteora, the hotel was fine but it would have been nicer to stay somewhere closer to the villages. Our hotel felt like it was in the middle of nowhere with nothing close by or in walking distance. While not a part of this tour, it would have been nice to have gotten to see the sunset at Meteora.
