Deep thoughts - A lot of in-depth information. I hope you like history! To stand in the same spot as Paul was hard to fully grasp.

You MUST book this one! - Hands-down, the best tour we’ve ever done. Yannis was patient and informative. He answered all of the MANY questions we had. The tour was tailored to fit our specific interests and needs, and Yannis even made sure that we had reservations for a beachside lunch after learning that our favorite dish was seafood. Our crew consisted of people in their 60s, 30s, and a 5-year old with special needs, and Yannis did an amazing job making sure were all comfortable and getting the most from our day. This excursion is absolutely worth taking. The information learned and memories made will last a lifetime.

Educational historical tour of St Paul’s time in Ancient Corinth - Tas was an amazing tour guide and driver! Since it was just my husband and me he tailored according to our interests. Tas was super knowledgeable and a great communicator (English is his first language) with a good sense of humor. Highly recommend this tour.

Great historical overview of Corinth and Apostle Paul's time in Corinth - Our tour guide was Yannis, and he was fabulous. He has an incredible depth of knowledge about history, archeology and the scriptures, and a passion for sharing this knowledge. He brought Paul's ministry and travels to life for us, gave a detailed overview of the history of Corinth, and made many helpful suggestions. We started with a visit to the Corinth canal, stopped at the beautiful Cathedral of Corinth dedicated to Saint Paul, and then went up to the Acrocorinth fortress above the city. Yannis gave us the history of the fortress and showed us a map of the trails, but did not accompany us through the ruins, since only licensed guides may do so. Upon our return to the van, he took us to the ruins of Ancient Corinth and the museum, where we were met by a licensed guide arranged by Yannis (this is for an extra fee). She was also very knowledgeable and took us through the museum, pointing out artifacts of particular interest and tying them into the life and ministry of Paul. She then guided us through the ruins and showed us the site where Paul was tried and released, as well as the temple of Apollo and other areas. After taking us back to Yannis, he took us to a seaside restaurant for dinner and finally to the ruins of the ancient port of Cenchreae. We enjoyed every moment of this tour, and were comfortable in the van with water and snacks provided. We highly recommend asking for Yannis, particularly if you want someone with a deep knowledge of the Bible.

This is a must do while staying in Athens! - If you are considering this tour at all - just do it! Here are my reasons why: 1. Isthmus Canal is a site to behold and the history behind it is very interesting. 2. The history of Paul during his time in Corinth is plentiful. You will see many sites where Paul actually went. 3. Ancient Corinth is INCREDIBLE! It is a huge site with a lot to see, and the museum is great. 4. Dinner at Taverna Gemelos is very delicious and at the right time of year you get to sit on the balcony and look at Ancient Corinth. (Best view ever!) 5. We had Tas as our guide! He shares so much historical knowledge that you will definitely learn a ton of great things. He made us feel like we had all of the time in the world and we could see things at our own pace. He also had cold water, snacks and made sure we had plenty of restroom stops, which made the day very comfortable. (We actually went on a second tour with Tas two days later!) This private tour is worth the time and money.
