Perfect foodie day! - We had an amazing day with Penny! We learned so much about the food and the area - and everything we ate was DELICIOUS!! What a perfect way to start our Greek adventure.

Fun and delicious! - Lef was a wonderful tour guide. He is cheerful and entertaining while he took us to such interesting places. I especially loved going through the fish and meat markets- what a cool experience! The food we sampled was representative of the Greek culture, plentiful and delicious. It was also great to learn about the Athens as part of the tour. I highly recommend!!!

Iconic Athens bites - Lefteris was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, who took us to the best spots for great bites. This tour is more about small bites at many stops, and not sit down meals. So expect to stop seven or eight times for quick iconic bites, and not fewer stops with sit-down meals. We ended with a lovely larger meal and local beer and wine.

Fun and delicious - Penny was a great guide, we got to try so many wonderful foods and walked around different neighborhoods in Athens. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Great experience! - Very fun tour with Filippos. He took us to many different locations where we got to sample a huge variety of food. No one left hungry. He was very engaging and entertaining highly recommend. Was also nice that they were open on Greece‘s holiday when many other things were not.

A Culinary Highlight of Athens – Ask for Maria! - If you are coming to Athens, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Food on Foot. We just finished The Sunday Morning Ultimate Food Tour and are still buzzing from the experience (and very full!). The tour was really more than we expected. We visited six different spots, starting with a perfect Greek yogurt and moving into a tasting of Greek cheeses, cured meats, and olives. One of the absolute highlights was the traditional coffee experience—it was atmospheric and truly authentic. By the time we reached the final stop for a full lunch, we were so well-fed we couldn't finish it all! You definitely get your money's worth and then some. While the food was terrific, what made this tour unforgettable was our guide, Maria. From the moment we met, she felt less like a tour guide and more like a long-time friend showing us around her favorite neighborhood. • Knowledgeable: She shared really interesting insights into Greek history and culture that you won't find in a guidebook. • Personality: She is warm and genuinely helpful. • Passion: Her love for Greek cuisine and heritage is contagious. Delightful Food Tour with Penny - What a delightful food tour. Our guide, Penny, was not only knowledgeable, but also attentive to our needs, very friendly and fun to be with. The food - amazing samples of so many good Greek foods. We lost track of them all but had Koulouri, galaktoboureko, spanakopita, baklava, local cheeses, Greek coffee made in a hot sand bed and a lunch of many varied dishes. We will certainly be trying to find these foods again on our own. Thank you Penny.
