Wow!! So glad we did this tour!! - We had one full day in Athens and we are so glad we did this tour! Our guide, Tonia, was amazing! She was fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about food and Athens. The food was all so delicious! We tried dishes and local goodies that we simply never would have if we had been on our own. This is one of the best tours I've ever done-because of our guide and quality of food. Thanks Tonia, for making our day so enjoyable!!

Fun and filling. - LOTS of FOOD.... Fun. We were very jet lagged after having just flown in, and still had a delicous and fun time. Seriously don't eat before this and probably after. Our guide was fabulous. We visited local shops, restaurants, a local market,had a greek coffee, and we saw several murals. Bring cash for tip.

BEST OF THE BEST! - We had Maro as our tour guide and she was OUTSTANDING along with the food tour ! The places we visited and the food we tried were all amazing . I would seriously go back and do this again —I can understand why they are considered the best of the best recognition on TA. From. The first bakery —delicious to real roasted Greek coffee. To the Mezzanine ( appetizers ) my favorite ! To dessert and main course. —each stop was better than the next . I do food tours all over And I can honestly say this is in the top 2. The only negative or constructive criticism I could give is that most all food tours limit the people to 6-10 and this one was at. 14 which limited the time it took for everyone..but maybe someone was sick and they had to take extra as there were several tours going at once. Thank you Maro and ATHENS WALKS ! I’ll be back!

A fun tour with authentic tastings - This was a fun experience. I am actually Greek American so I am familiar with Greek food and I was on the tour with a friend from New York who came to Greece for the first time and booked the tour for us. All the places we went and food we tasted truly represented authentic highlights of Greek cuisine, prepared the right way. Nikoleta was a very energetic and entertaining guide. We had a great time.

Excellent tour, food and host - Nasos - We had an excellent private tour hosted by the brilliant Nasos who is knowledgeable about Greek food and many other things. He took us to some excellent places to eat and provided us with a wide range of Greek food items spanning breakfast through lunch and dinner - along with some wine and ouzo as well. Whether as a group or private, this tour is excellent but the private option gives you a more focused and relaxed experience IMO. The food and restaurants were great and Nasos's hosting was second to none. Definitely do not eat beforehand as the food is plentiful.

Don't miss this food tour - great experience! - The food tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Nikoleta was absolutely wonderful! She was knowledgeable, funny, and provided assistance to our group of 9 that went above and beyond the call of duty to locate a lost cell phone. The food tour offered a great variety and abondance of Greek food. I have done food tours in several cities and this was the BEST! I highly recommend this food tour.

Wonderful tour. Ate too much but everything was perfect. - Did this tour on our first day in Athens. Wonderful tour with Sylvia. We had fun and ate too much as you should not eat for 2 days before going on this tour. We tried many dishes we would not have eaten without the tour and doing it on the first day put us right in the Greek atmosphere. We have eaten a lot of Greek specialities that we were able to order again during our stay. Depending on the time of the tour, we should probably eat the Meze first to make sure we still can ;) We were a group of 10.

Easy decision to pick this tour - Excellent food walking tour…I travel internationally frequently & always invest a day for a walking food tour…this was a 10! Perfect amount of food & walking time. From watching greek coffee being made, different foods, & walking through the markets. The honey & olive oil tasting was my favorite…worth every euro!

A wonderful time - Was a fun, informative, yummy tour of central Athens. Our guide Dora was fun and a pleasure to spend the tour with. We went to a local coffee shop, a pie place, then a restaurant, a gyro restaurant and a local bakery. Lots of local food and drinks.
