Excellent tour would recommend to everyone - Being an urban dweller, a lover of art and history this tour exceeded my expectations. I can’t give enough high praise to the tour guide Penelope. Her knowledge of the history as it related to the urban street art both politically and historically was incredibly impressive. She not only made the experience educational but also a lot of fun. Efcharisto Penelope.

Many cool Murals in the Murals in the Psirri district - Our guide Penelope was a competent street art guide. It's amazing how much street art there is in this district. We received a lot of information about the artists, their special features and techniques. The motivation of the artists for the respective murals is also very different. The city even supports some artworks with funds. A mural is even a listed building. This is pretty one-off. A street art portrait of the well-known street dog LOUKANIKOS was part of our tour. These were 2 interesting hours during which the participants got a different view of the city.

Wonderful 2 hour tour! - Had a memorable, fun and engaging 2 hour urban street art tour with Katarina 2 days ago! We were very lucky to be the only two people on the tour. Her pacing, explanations and the variety of art seen was perfect for what we were looking for. She is a charming person with excellent English and the perfect guide for a walk through several neighborhoods of Athens street art.

Such creative artwork - Such a great tour! So many stories are portrayed through Art and this was wonderful to see on the side of buildings or garages. Our guide was so lovely and knowledgeable; I felt that we were kindred spirits throughout. The Ino art work was probably some of my favourite and seeing them in the city brilliant. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Athens.

Highly Recomment the Urban Street Art Tour! - Katerina was a wonderful tour guide. She promptly met us at the assigned meeting spot (in front of a pastry shop near Monastiraki Square) and introduced herself to our small group of four. Since we all knew each other already, she asked us a few questions so she could learn a little about us and the type of information and art we might be most interested in hearing about and seeing during our tour. She also gave us a quick overview of the route we would be taking on this walking tour as well as a little background about street art vs grafitti. As we walked, she pointed out many diverse examples of art on the buildings and explained the historical, religious, philosophical, and political meanings possibly linked to these pieces of art. She also encouraged us to share our interpretations. She answered our questions and offered insites about the culture of this city. Since this was our first full day in Athens, she also offered some recommendations about how to have a safe and enjoyable visit. The entire tour lasted 2 hours and we walked about a mile. For us, the tour ended very near our hotel, so that worked great. There is also a Metro stop there so it is easy to return to another area of the city, if needed. This was a great alternative to seeing more ruins and a nice way to learn about some of the more current Greek history and local Athens culture. Highly recommend!
