• Monastiraki - Begin your walking food tour in Monastiraki, one of Athens’ oldest and most lively neighborhoods, featuring landmarks such as Hadrian’s Library, an 18th-century mosque, and the ancient Iridanos River, which still flows beneath the square. You’ll also be treated to some of the best views of the Acropolis, along with many other hidden treasures. Sample one of Greece’s most cherished foods, Souvlaki or Gyros, as you visit some of Athens’ oldest eateries.

The tour starts and concludes near Monastiraki, allowing you to easily combine tasting local flavors with sightseeing.

• Psirri - This is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods where you will mingle with locals and uncover some unique spots. The Psirri area is home to one of Athens’ oldest squares (Plateia Iroon), where you will find numerous local tavernas with live music, eateries, bars, and cafes. The neighborhood is also renowned for some of the city’s finest artisan shops and street art murals. Here, you will sample different varieties of the Greek traditional puff pastry pie.
• Aiolou - Wander through one of Athens’ most iconic central neighborhoods, where you’ll engage with locals, discover a mix of ancient and modern landmarks, and explore popular hangouts. Along the way, enjoy a tasting of Greek cold cuts and local cheeses, followed by a seated dinner featuring traditional dishes, and conclude with a classic Greek dessert.
