So much great food! - Our guide, Maria, was awesome at her job! We learned so much about Greek food and culture. I would absolutely recommend this excursion to anyone.

Unforgettable Foodie Tour in Athens! - We had a fantastic experience with Food on Foot! Our guide, Eleftherios (Lef), was incredibly friendly, informative, and passionate about Athenian food, history, and culture. He took us to amazing local spots we’d never have found on our own—real hidden gems not even on the internet! Every bite was delicious, and the stories behind them made it all the more special. A great experience - Ioanna was a wonderful guide! She was very knowledgeable about the history and food culture she shared with us and her English was perfect. The tour was very well paced and the food was delicious. The progression of foods was very appropriate from breakfast through lunch. I took this tour with my 18 year old son who has Down Syndrome, and we were joined by a family of 5 with 2 young children. It was the perfect sized group and a great experience. We loved my first food tour and my son already wants to go in another one!

Eating extravaganza - A great introduction to Greek food. A chance to sample a wide selection from generational artisans. An easy walking tour, although very hot. Highlights were the Greek donuts, the coffee and the cheeses. But there was so much more that was also excellent. Elias was friendly & knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

The tour was very nice, food was amazing and very diverse, it gave us a great overview of Greek cuisine and I would highly recommend! Ioanna was amazing as a tour guide too, she was lovely and knew exactly was she was talking about! We had a really great time, it’s one of the best things we did in Athens!

Great food tour - Definitely go hungry to this tour. I sampled, pie, cheeses, snacks, coffee and all seemed very local hidden gems. There's a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

Tasting tour under the Athens sun - Great tasting walk with Penny and Victor (who are both very nice) through the streets of Athens with lots of stops to eat and taste savoury and sweet specialties! Thank you again, for this friendly moment. We can leave with loads of cheese (Griviera and Anthotyros) that we loved! 😍

The Tour Was Awesome and Our Tour Guide, Maria, was Extraordinaire! - I loved the Athens Ultimate Food on Foot Tour! My family did the Ultimate Food Tour which combined history, food, wine, neighborhoods, churches, and the Greek urban culture in a unique four hour tour that left my family feeling richer. Our first stop was a Greek breakfast which included a traditional Greek breakfast of yogurt, ‘koulouri’ sesame pastry. and Greek coffee. From there we visited a selection of Greek delis where we savored bites of pies, spanakopita, cheese, meats and olives, sampled olive oil, mousaka,tapas, Greek wine and much more!The food was wonderful...but our tour guide, Maria, was AWESOME. She was professional, yet bubbly, friendly and personable. She cared about us and wanted to make sure that we had a positive experience. We were celebrating my daughter's 30th birthday and Maria slipped away for a few minutes and came back with a small birthday cake, a rose and even a candle for the cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a pleasant surprise. Maria was also very knowledgeable about Plaka and Athens in general. She gave us recommendations on other places to visit in Athens (including rooftop bars). If we're ever in Athens again, my family will definitely do the Athens Food on Foot Tour and, of course, we will request Maria as our Tour Guide! Ps--Thanks to Anna for helping to make this experience memorable and pleasurable as well. Our group was a small size of five people. Because of this we got the one-on-one attention that we needed from Maria.
