Notable exhibits include the helicon and sixth string of Pythagoras, Hermes’ lyre, Apollo’s magnificent guitar, the Homeric phorminx, Sappho’s harp, the Ptolemaic helicon, and the Pan flute. Visitors can listen to the ancient song of Seikilos and explore the “hydraulis of Ktesibios,” the world’s first keyboard instrument.
