Four friends in Athens - The tour operator did a fantastic job! The meeting locations was clearly outlined with a reminder sent to us the day before. Recommend taking tour prior to the 9:00 am rush.

Great tour. - A brilliant way to spend a morning being shown around the Acropolis and museum by a lovely knowledgeable and witty guide whose name I cant remember (absolutely shocking on my behalf) she was amazing. We were group No 22. During the summer months I recommend booking the morning tour as it gets very hot. Also if you are unsteady on your feet then take somewith you as there are a lot of pot holes and very shiny slippery rocks. Great tour and you get to see everything . You also dodge the queues to get in.

Marguerite knows her stuff!!! - Everything was as described when booking. The day was hot. There was lots of walking. But the overall feeling of the tour was captivating and interesting - it was a true honour to be there. Marguerite, our tour guide was charming, enthusiastic and above all passionately knowledgeable about her subject. To hold us all enthralled for over four hours without a script was impressive and inspiring. Her thrilling understanding of her country’s history was uplifting and made me feel like I was actually stepping back in time - bravo and thank you.

Great tour of the amazing Acropolis - With the heat in Athens at the time we travelled, it was definitely great to do this to her first thing in the morning. Our guide was very knowledgeable and there was plenty of time to explore the acropolis both with her and for a little while on our own as well. It is also worth paying the extra to enter the museum. It is quite incredible what they have created there. You are left in the museum to explore at your leisure once the tour has finished. It is worth noting that the entrance to the museum with this tour does not include the ruins that have been discovered underneath the museum. In order to view those ruins, you need to pay for another entry into the museum. This could be something that could be improved on by Viator or the tour operator. We didn’t feel it was worth paying for another full museum entry in order to see those ruins.

Great time - These kind folks were amazing to work with. We had one difficult time after another starting with a delayed flight into Greece, we were unable to make our reserved timed and Athens Walking Tour host was gracious and rescheduled for the following day. The day of our scheduled time, we could not find our guide, and once again -the host was able to call and locate us. We were greeted with nothing less but kindness. Helene-I think I spelled her name correctly- was fantastic at helping and entertaining us “out of towners” We had a wonderful experience because of their willingness to go the extra mile and help us when needed!!!! Thank you so much and I highly recommend!!

This Amazing Tour Was a Highlight of our Trip! - You simply will not find a more knowledgeable, professional, and engaging tour guide than Niobe! It was truly OUR privilege for our party of four adults to be on a group tour with her; we saw and learned more about the Acropolis and the Museum in our time with her than we would have been able to do in two+ days on our own! When we had areas of particular interest to us, Niobe happily pivoted to accommodate anything special we wanted to discuss and learn about -- things we NEVER would have seen and learned about otherwise. She was a pleasure to be with throughout our time together, and I am quite certain our broader group felt exactly the same way. We truly cannot recommend Niobe more highly; with her depth of knowledge and expert assistance, your visit to the Acropolis and the Museum will certainly be an absolute highlight of your trip!

Small group, early entry Walking Tour Athens - is the way to go - We found Athens Walking Tours on Trip Advisor and very happy with our choice. We have a good friend that lives in Athens and her only recommendation was "go early" to the Acropolis. To that advise we added the "small group" walking tour and it was perfect. The early start time gave us almost an hour or more ahead of all the cruise ship tours. Plus you beat the heat in addition to the crowds. We have 4 couples in our group so it was easy to navigate and "bob and weave" as the crowds grew. Our tour guide Niobe was awesome! She was so sweet, relaxed and new all the shady spots to stop to rest and talk. She had extensive knowledge of all things Greek (not just about the Acropolis) and we really appreciated not only the learning aspect, but just how easy she made it all. We felt like we were in our own little bubble as the mass of humanity grew as the morning progressed. Highly recommend early morning and small group tours for a more personalized experience. Thank you Niobe for sharing your time and knowledge with us
