License guides are a must! - Great licensed guide and a small group. The best of both worlds. We were in port for the day and took a taxi to the meeting place (we booked an early morning tour to beat the heat). The museum is fantastic and worth the time so be sure to get a ticket. Guide was patient and full of knowledge about the site as well as the people who built it . She was a high school teacher and knew how to deal with a group. She kept us from getting bored or overwhelmed. The Plaka neighborhood is a short walking distance from the Acropolis and has lots of shops and places to eat. Our guide gave us a great recommendation for lunch.

It has a lot of... - It has a lot of information compressed into small amount of time. Our guide was excellent but I wish we’d had more time to look around the acropolis on our own.

Wonderful experience! - The small tour with about 15 people was a great way to experience the Acropolis in the September heat. Gregory, our guide was extremely knowledgeable AND knew every shady spot to stand and give us info. He brought ancient Athens to life with his enthusiasm. Inside the museum we got a good understanding of what we were looking at while moving thru the crowds. So glad we chose this tour!

4 hours well spent - I have to apologize to Hermes. He was amazing and for personal reasons we ditched the last part of the tour. He's the guy (Zeus would approve). Super informative and interesting, imo.

Tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis museum - We had a fantastic morning with our guide Lisa, she was friendly, enthusiastic and informative. She led us round the Acropolis and to the significant artefacts in the museum. It was definitely the best use of our short time in Athens.

Athens essential - Helena was a very knowledgeable guide giving us a mass of information on Greek mythology.
Even though we did a 9am tour it was extremely busy and hot. Wear good shoes and plenty of water.
Museum add on with Helena is worth it because she talks you through the key items.

The best of the best - My guy was a wealth of information almost like an encyclopedia. He also had all kinds of folklore to go along with it and was funny as well. The museum is spectacular and is a must see! Yes, it was hot at the Acropolis but well worth it. Bring lots of water and continue to hydrate. I bought a little handheld fan and that saved me.

Acropolis - Our tour guide, Alexia Kolia, made our tour of the Parthenon, acropolis and acropolis museum fun and informative. She definitely has a love of Athens history and made us all very excited to learn about it. She also made sure we were comfortable, well hydrated and shaded.

Magnificent Visit to a Wonder - Wonderful experience John the Archeologist was a masterful guide and teacher. Could not have asked for a better experience pacing was perfect we did the museum also and felt that was a must.
