Athens - Following your pickup, the tour begins at Apostle Paul’s initial destination: Acropolis Hill, featuring the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Erechtheion, and the Nike Temples.

Acropolis, Ancient Corinth, Nafpaktos
Athens - Following your pickup, the tour begins at Apostle Paul’s initial destination: Acropolis Hill, featuring the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Erechtheion, and the Nike Temples.

Areopagus or Mars Hill
Directly opposite the official exit of the Acropolis Athens site is Mars Hill, also known as Aeropagus Hill. According to Acts 17:22-31, Apostle Paul delivered his renowned speech to the “UNKNOWN GOD” here.
Ancient Agora of Athens - The subsequent stop is the Ancient Agora. Visitors can stroll through the old city of Plaka, pausing at the Roman Agora and Adrian’s Library. Adrianou Street is lined with quaint traditional cafes overlooking the Ancient Agora, with Athens’ iconic Flea Market situated behind it. The most notable sites in the Ancient Agora are the splendid Temple of Hephaestus and the Stoa of Attalos.
Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos) - The journey continues towards the Corinth Canal, a six-and-a-half-kilometer canal that separates the Aegean Sea from the Ionian Sea.
Twenty minutes later, visitors will reach Ancient Corinth, home to the renowned Temple of Apollo and the Bema, where Apostle Paul preached the Christian God’s word to the local Corinthians, Jews, and Romans. Apostle Paul resided in Corinth for 18 months and is the patron saint of the city. In his honor, the Corinthians constructed the impressive Church of Apostle Paul, which is visited in modern Corinth.
Apostle Paul bid farewell to his friends as he departed for Syria from Kechree port to continue spreading Christianity throughout the Mediterranean.
Nafpaktos Old Port - After Corinth, the tour crosses the Rio Antirio Bridge into the western mainland. The first stop is Nafpaktos, a charming Venetian port where visitors can enjoy coffee or tea. The journey then proceeds to Galaxidi and Delphi for an overnight stay.
Delphi, Thermopylae
Delphi Archaeological Museum - The second day of the tour begins at Delphi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Delphi’s sites include the Temple of Apollo, the Amphictyonic Council, the Siphnian Treasury, the Theatre, the Tholos, the Gymnasium, and the Stadium.
The Delphi museum showcases masterpieces from the site, including the famous Charioteer, the Sphinx of the Naxians, and the statues of Kleobis and Biton.
Lunch is at the traditional tavern “To Patriko mas,” offering a stunning view of the expansive olive tree valley and sea, along with exceptional food and service.
Thermopylae Museum - The next stop is Thermopylae and the Historical Centre of the 300 Spartans battlefield. Here, visitors can see the statue of Leonidas, king of Sparta, as a memorial to the battle. Admission Fee: 3 euros.
The next destination is Kalambaka, where guests will check into their rooms and be transported to Meteora Rocks to witness the breathtaking sunset over the majestic Monasteries.
Meteora Monasteries, Vergina, Veroia
The Great Meteoron Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Saviour - On the third day, the tour includes visits to 2 or 3 of the Meteora monasteries, depending on the day and time.
Meteora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Meteora monasteries, dating back to the 14th century, are unique worldwide due to the incredible collection of Byzantine and Christian artifacts.
Appropriate attire is required in the monasteries. Women must wear skirts below the knees, although some monasteries provide these for women in shorts or slacks. Men must cover their arms and wear long pants.
After visiting the Monasteries, the tour descends to Kalambaka for lunch on its main street, featuring traditional and family-run small taverns. After lunch, the journey continues to Vergina.
Museum of the Royal Tombs of Aigai (Vergina) - Vergina, another UNESCO site, was the first capital of the ancient kingdom of Macedonia. Visitors will explore the palaces, the ancient theatre, the Royal Macedonian Tombs, and the Museum.
Veroia - The next stop is Veria, another town evangelized by Paul (Acts 17: 10-14). The tour includes a visit to the ancient synagogue, where the Byzantine mosaic commemorating his preaching can be seen.
The location in Veria where Paul is said to have stood and preached, known as “Apostle Paul’s Podium,” is now an impressive monument.
Pella, Amphipolis
Archaeological Museum of Pella - After breakfast, the tour departs Veria and drives for about an hour to reach the expansive Archaeological site of Pella and its distinctive Museum. The Pella Museum received the “Traveller’s Choice Award” for 2020 from Trip Advisor.
Ancient Amphipolis - The next stop is Amphipolis, an ancient Greek city on the Strymon River colonized by Athens.
The most remarkable monuments include the Kasta Tomb, a memorial dedicated to Alexander the Great’s dear friend, Hephaestion.
The Lion of Amphipolis, a monumental tomb sculpture, was erected in honor of Laomedon of Mytilene, a significant general of Alexander the Great, king of Macedon.
Philippi, Neapoli, Thessaloniki
The Archaeological Museum of Philippi - On the fifth day, the tour visits Philippi, where Apostle Paul preached. Lydia, a noblewoman from Thyateira of Asia Minor, was one of the first to be baptized there.
In Philippi, Paul and Silas were accused of causing disturbances in the city and having customs unusual for the Romans. The two men were beaten and imprisoned but managed to escape to Thessaloniki.
Archaeological Museum of Kavala - The tour continues to the ancient city of Neapolis, the first European city to embrace Christianity. Visitors will see the Roman Aqueduct and the Acropolis ruins in this beautifully situated city, known since the 5th century as Kavala.
Thessaloniki - After a two-hour drive, the tour reaches Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city with a rich history. Apostle Paul and Silas arrived in Thessaloniki in the fall of 48AD.
Visitors will explore the Orthodox Church of St. Paul, a symbol of Apostle Paul’s visit to Thessaloniki.
Apostle Paul’s Holy Water. The area once had a spring, and it is rumored that Apostle Paul stopped to drink some water.
Thessaloniki’s popular attractions include the famous White Tower by the sea, the Roman Forum, the Rotunda, the Arch of Galerius (known as “Kamara”), the church of Agios Dimitrios with its underground catacombs, and the Castle of Thessaloniki, called The Heptapyrgion.
Thessaloniki, Dion, Kamena Vourla
Thessaloniki - After breakfast, if time permits, guests can enjoy a short walk along the famous Thessaloniki promenade. Later, the driver will take them to visit the archaeological site and museum of Dion.
Dion Archaeological Park - The Dion site is extensive, and excavations have uncovered a fortified city, private residences, public buildings, shops, and numerous workshops.
Visitors will see the Sanctuary of Zeus Olympios, of Demeter, of Isis, the Great thermae of Dion, the Villa of Dionysos, the Ancient and Roman Theatres, the Necropolis, and the Church of Agios Dimitrios.
Kamena Vourla - After exploring the impressive site of Dion, the return trip to Athens begins. The final stop is at the seaside village of Kamena Vourla, where guests are offered complimentary afternoon coffee or tea with a sea view.
Finally, upon arrival in Athens, guests can be dropped off at the airport or their residence.
