Omar the best, well organized in general - Omar is a very friendly guy and came to take us at our place and waited for us since we were on late. He was nice since the beginning and led us to the feluca (which they park close to the hotel where they need to go, he says) where three Nubian guys were waiting for us. They have driven us for a while, then have sang a song for us and sold us handcrafted souvenirs. After a few minutes, we went to a motor boat that led us to the village. There, Omar led us to a Nubian house that is now open to be also a cafe for tourists: it was very nice and the food + the tea were so special (not for every tongues)!!! There were bright colours and we also saw little crocodiles. Then we took a walk into the market and finally experienced a brilliant show of a spice seller, who makes prices we thought fair (4$/100g for spices, something more for teas and other things). We sailed back and Omar also gave us very useful advice. He is absolutely the best guide we had in Egypt with super English. We had fun, learnt notions about Egyptian and Nubian culture and saw magnificent sunset landscapes. Absolutely adviced!

Beautiful experience and fantastic and well prepared guide! - It was a great experience and our guide Omar was fantastic. He explained to us the origins of the Nubian population, the traditions and why each one. He is really prepared and very kind, he also answered all our curiosity about monuments of Aswan and Egyptian culture (it was not included in the tour) and also gave us many tips about Aswan, what to see, what to avoid etc... The tour includes everything that is mentioned, we were offered tea and typical food in a Nubian house, we saw the crocodiles and the bazaar is very impressive. The trip by feluca and motorboat was spectacular, I recommend booking for 3pm so you can see the sunset from the Nile and also the bright colors of the village. The staff at the feluca were also very kind and we even danced together to typical music played by them.

Overall good activity for few hours to experience the artistic and welcoming town of Aswan - Our tour guide was Moataz and he picked us up in a vintage red car which was surprise but we can understand given it’s an old historic place so the ride options are accordingly. Moataz was a good host , taking us via the boat and then into the Nubian house where we saw crocodile locked up and the locals welcoming us with tea and hospitality. Following which we went to the local village bazar before returning to our hotel. Moataz is an energetic and lively host.

An excellent guide - We had a beautiful sailing experience and meal in the Nubian village. Our guide Ahmed was super flexible in adjusting the schedule to suit our needs with our young children. We’ve had many guides on this trip, but if the way our children responded to him is any guide, he is a good person who is doing a great job in Egypt.

A trip which brings people back to the history and nature - The trip started with a cruise from the port in Aswan, we took the traditional felucca, which is very natural and relaxing on the Nile. After the cruise we visited the Nubian village, which is a very colorful sight seeing in Aswan beside the desert mountain. The guide told us a lot Nubian history and traditions, which makes the trip more interesting.

The guide made this booking amazing! - We had the best time exploring Aswan and the Nubian Village with Moataz as our guide! From the very beginning, his passion, energy, and enthusiasm were contagious. He brought every site to life with stories, history, and little details that made everything so much more memorable. What really stood out was how much he truly loves what he does – it shows in the way he connects with people and makes the experience fun, engaging, and unforgettable. Moataz went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, learned a lot, and enjoyed every moment. If you’re visiting Aswan, we can’t recommend him enough!

Boat tour with guide Ahmed - We had a lovely boat ride and tour with Ahmed. The trip on the Felucca was only like 30min, the rest was on sort of motorboat, which was still nice but not really mentioned upfront. Then we went to the Nubian village, saw a house on the inside, got a little explanation and drank some thee. The rest was just walking around a tourist market. In summery a nice guide, he tried to answer al our questions and even helped us later the evening with other booking problems. So he gets 5 stars but of the tour itself I expected a little bit more.
