Fabulous trip with great guide and driver - We had a fantastic half day exploring the 3 sites with our great safe driver Mustapha and our amazing guide Marcus. He really brought the sites to life for us with his extensive knowledge, pointing our numerous details that we would have missed without his inside information. His English was first rate and he answered our immunerable questions. We also loved his sense of humour and the fact that we weren't dragged into lots of stores for shopping once we told him that since we travel very light, we wouldn't be buying any souvenirs. We cannot recommend this tour and most especially Mustapha and Marcus highly enough.

This was a great private... - This was a great private tour around the sites of Aswan. We had a very knowledgeable and helpful guide - Mary. Our driver was also great. This is a great way to see some of the sites in the area on a very comprehensive half day tour. Great value!

Recommended - Rasha is the best tour guide when we were in Aswan! She accommodated our needs to visit Philae temple & High Dam and gave us ample time to spend on the pictures/etc. Hope to see Rasha again in the future 🙂

Highly recommended tour with Marcus as a guide - Marcus is a great guide, able to help you understand every aspect of the tour, uniting the past with the present. He also tells you current insights into Egyptian culture. I highly recommend Marcus as a guide, who also speaks very clear English, and I highly recommend this tour.

The best guide in Aswan - Great tour with Mariana! She was super helpful and went the extra mile by speaking Spanish to us. She was so nice and explained to us really well. Also enough time to take pictures and see everything. Our driver also great! Excellent value for your money. Highly recommend.

We booked a tour in Aswan... - We booked a tour in Aswan (September 2025) and had Mary as our guide. She was great! We started by visiting the New Dam, where she explained its importance, how it was built, and the reasons behind its construction. Next, we headed to the Philae Temple. Mary shared a lot about ancient Egyptian traditions and beliefs (diving into the stories of Isis, Osiris, Hathor, Horus, Seth…). She also touched on the influences of the Romans and Greeks, the Coptic, and some French writings. We had plenty of time to explore and take photos, which was nice. After that, we visited the unfinished obelisk, where we talked about how they were constructed and about Hatshepsut. Despite the heat, Mary thoughtfully provided us with water, which was much appreciated. The driver was also nice and had a great car, making the whole experience smooth. Overall, it was a well-rounded tour!
