Abu Simbel Temple Complex - At approximately 4:30 AM, a driver will collect guests for an optional group trip to Abu Simbel. Arrival is around 8 AM to explore the remarkable rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, designed for King Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. Temple of Kom Ombo - The cruise will sail to Kom Ombo, where guests will visit the Kom Ombo Temple. Lunch will be served on board.
Edfu & Luxor East Bank Tour
Temple of Horus - In the morning, guests will visit Edfu Temple, the best-preserved temple in Egypt dedicated to the Falcon God Horus. The cruise will then navigate to Luxor via Esna.
In the afternoon, guests will visit the magnificent Luxor Temple and the vast Temple complex of Karnak, featuring the Hypostyle Hall, the largest of any temple worldwide, covering 5,356 square meters with its roof supported by 134 colossal columns, each 70 feet high. Overnight stay in Luxor.
Disembarkation – Luxor West Bank Tour
Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, guests will disembark and visit the Ancient Theban Necropolis on Luxor’s west bank, including the Valley of Kings, where over 60 Egyptian Pharaohs are buried in tombs carved into the mountain cliffs. The Valley of the Kings, located just west of the Nile River in Upper Egypt, was part of ancient Thebes and served as the burial site for nearly all the pharaohs of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties (1539–1075 BCE), from Thutmose I to Ramses X. In 1979, UNESCO designated the valley as part of the World Heritage site of ancient Thebes, which also includes Luxor, the Valley of the Queens, and Karnak.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, built during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty, is located opposite Luxor and is considered an architectural masterpiece. Its three grand terraces rise above the desert floor and into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Her tomb, KV20, is situated within the same massif, topped by El Qurn, a pyramid for her mortuary complex. A causeway connects the complex to the valley temple, located 1 km east at the desert’s edge. Across the Nile, the structure aligns with the monumental Eighth Pylon, Hatshepsut’s most notable addition to the Temple of Karnak, from where the Beautiful Festival of the Valley procession began.
Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon are the only remnants of the funerary Temple of Amenophis III.
Note: The tour concludes around 2 PM, with transfers to Luxor Train Station, Luxor Airport, or a Luxor hotel for final departure by 4 PM.
