- Aswan High Dam - Start your day tour in Aswan by getting picked up from your hotel or cruise ship and driving to the High Dam of Aswan, an engineering miracle built in the 1960s. - Unfinished Obelisk - Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries of Aswan, where much of the red granite used for ancient temples and colossi came from. The Unfinished Obelisk still lies where it was carved when a crack was discovered as it was being hewn from the rock. Your qualified Egyptologist guide will explain how the 1 tonne obelisk was carved, and why the crack caused it to be abandoned.
- Temple of Philae - The last of the 3 famous Aswan sites you will see is generally regarded as the best. Philae Temple was carefully moved to its current location (around 500 meters from the original site) when the construction of the High Dam caused surrounding Nile waters to rise. A short motorboat ride takes you to the island, where your guide will take you on a walking tour through the temple before allowing you free time to explore further on your own. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple has a beautiful setting on an island in the river which has been landscaped to match its original site.
- Aswan - After finishing your tour, you’ll be dropped off your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan.

Excellent food during the excursion - Our meal was delicious, full of authentic Egyptian flavors. It was the perfect completion of a day full of historical tours to the High Barrage, Semitlis Obelisko and the Temple of Philae.

A well-organized and unforgettable trip - The visit to Aswan was impeccable, thanks to precise planning and perfect organization. Our guide, Emad, was a true expert in Egyptian history and explained every detail of the temple of Philae and the ancient construction of the unfinished obelisk. He even took us to a small bazaar where we bought beautiful souvenirs. Transfers were fast and the vehicle was modern and spotless. The day was crowned by breathtaking views along the Nile and an exquisite lunch in a cozy restaurant. Recommended experience

Superb organization and comfortable experience - The trip to Aswan is very well arranged and compact but comfortable. Rabeh, our guide, is not only professional but also very friendly, explaining in detail every attraction, especially the Philae Temple and the unfinished obelisk. The whole trip was arranged in a modern air-conditioned car and the ride was very comfortable. Boating on the Nile feels particularly relaxing and picturesque. Lunch was even more of a highlight, with authentic Egyptian food to savour. This is a must-see trip!

Perfect excursion with a passionate guide - Our visit to Aswan was one of the best experiences of our stay. Our guide, Hoda, made this day memorable thanks to his exceptional knowledge and his ability to transport us into history. The visit to the temple of Philae was magical, surrounded by the waters of the Nile. We also admired the unfinished obelisk and the grandeur of the High Dam. The restaurant selected for our lunch break offered delicious and authentic dishes, a real culinary discovery. The trip by air-conditioned car was very comfortable. An absolutely perfect day

Amazing landscapes of the Nile - Sailing through the Nile was a unique experience that I will always remember. The views of the river and the shores were of indescribable beauty.
