Good price for the trip to Abu Simbel - We were staying on Elephantine Island and the company took care to pick us up at 4 a.m. and bring us by boat to the shuttle departure point. Very good customer service and good driver.

Good experience - The driver and pick up was mostly on time and not much hassle (maybe 10m late) but given roads not surprising. We got a car with driver only, and it was a mini bus which was comfortable and clean with about 20-30 tourists in it. It takes about 3.5-4h for each leg of the journey, and we have about 2h for the temple. That time could be a bit more but otherwise all ok. Got a water bottle as promised and the pick up was from Nubien village.

Amazing day out at Abu Simbel - We had a fantastic day exploring Abu Simbel. Everything worked out perfectly, from the impeccably timed pick up from our hotel at 4.30am. There were no delays on the 3hr journey and we were greeted at the temples entrance by Ahmed who took charge of our little group. He explained the timeline of our visit and pointed out the meeting place. You see the temples first and then reunite with your guide for the bit of history. We were spoiled with a cool breeze and very little people at the sights. Definitely no crowds when we arrived at 7.40am and it remained so all throughout until we left at 10am. There are market stalls and some places to eat outside the area, but inside the complex it is very quiet, no one is force selling you anything and you get to genuinely enjoy the sights on your own. Ahmed was very engaging and knowledgeable in explaining the history, about 30 mins verbal tour, supported with photographs of how Abu Simbel looked like originally.

A must visit from Aswan - Very nice trip, Abu Simbel is a much visit! The pick-up was rather chaotic (we chose 4:30am for pick-up, but they ask you to be ready at 4:00am anyway, only to be picked up around 4:50am). Once in the van, the driving was very smooth and we could catch some more sleep! (With one small break on the way.) We asked for Ahmed as a guide, reading all the wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor. Important to know is that when driving back, Ahmed gave everyone in the van WiFi and a QR link to review him on the spot and asked repeatedly to do so, so this may color all the raving reviews a bit. That being said, he did give us a short but good explanation of the temples before going in (guides aren't allowed inside), and took great care of the entire group (also the ones who didn't choose the guide option) throughout. Back in Aswan around 2:00pm, so it does give you time to visit other things the same day if your schedule is tight!

Disappointing experience, salvaged by the amazing temples. Adequate value for money, although I don’t recommend guide. - Aside from how espectacular Abu Simbel is, the tour organization was underwhelming. We left Aswan more than half an hour later than expected (an important factor in this trip), and the whole mini bus was packed of people. However, aside from the driver, there was a second person from the tour who literally did nothing the whole time, but still occupied two seats all the journey, whilst many of us did not have almost any space (and he had an empty seat by the drivers side). To top it off, the driver requested tip, even if I assume that each of the passengers had already spent considerable amounts on this trip (and the uncomfortable elements mentioned earlier) The guide of the activity was also not very impressive, did not abide by the timing’s agreed upon initially, and could not provide any explanation inside, just narrating Wikipedia information outside of the temples. Really I would have not selected a guide considering this. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

Not recommended - The bus was really not confortable and this is problematic for 3 hours of driving outbound and return! + the driver wasn’t updating us while we were blocked for 1 hour on the road

Not doing this company again!!! - Not worth the money, took more than 4hrs to get there and only had 30min to go into the temples. Guide was not helpful and only gave a brief talk about the Unesco doing the replica of the mountains. Beware of inside vendors DO NOT ASK HOW MUCH FOR SOMETHING. Thieves!!!! Some camel decor went from 1400 punds to 250 at the end, of course we didn't buy it. Driver worse, very is dangerous car ride.
