A Nile Cruise Elevated by the Exceptional Guidance of Mohamed Gobram - Mohamed Gobram made our 4-day Nile cruise (Aswan, Edfu, Luxor) exceptional. His thoughtfulness catered to our group's needs, and his remarkable patience never wavered. Beyond his calm demeanor, Mohamed shared fascinating historical insights at each location, bringing ancient Egypt to life. His knowledge and engaging storytelling significantly enriched our experience, making him an invaluable guide. Highly recommended for an unforgettable Nile adventure. We hope to be back

Great experience in Egypt with a great guide - This experience has given me an oppurtunity to see some of the worlds most beautiful and picturesque landmarks with deep rooted history. We had a great guide, Mohamed Gobran and learned the ways of the ancient egyptians and their history. Mohamed explanation a different level as he managed to excite us

Great cruise on the Nile - My wife and I booked this not quite knowing what to expect. But I can say that everything was awesome. Even though it's Ramadan the ship still served alcohol. Our guide Mohamed G. was a fun guy and very knowledgeable. He had all the answers and then some. The locations we visited were stunning. It's hard to describe being in their presence. The only aspect we didn't like was the long bus journey to and from Abu Simbel. But that temple is absolutely worth visiting. Lunches and dinners everyday had lots of variety. For my wife who is vegan she was happy with the options. There was a girl who was celiac and the chefs also accommodated her upon request. As for the room, I haven't nothing bad to say. It was comfy and clean and did the job for the few days. We also met some nice people on board and the staff also did a great job

The Nile Adventures - The experience is recommended! Be prepared for days full of adventure and good planning. Our guide Mohamed Gobran explains everything in detail - he’s very knowledgeable and it’s on top of everything! He is friendly, kind, funny and makes sure you’re treated well. Something I liked was that he always asked how we were doing :)

A perfect tour (in terms of number of days, visits and guide) - An excellent tour!! A very suitable combination of days and visits. At first we thought that more days would be needed, but - in truth - not. Enough for the number of days. Besides, our guide, Mohamed Gobran... extraordinary. He knows a lot and was open to answering all the questions and help we had. Very grateful

An experience of a lifetime - Ahmed Shawky Ali ... it was an amazing experience in Egypt with our amazingly experienced and very learned guide Ahmed who made our Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor very exciting and a life time experience with his seemless expertise in coordinating a big number of group, to be on time, with immense knowledge of Egyptian history and archeology and making the the whole trip an exciting one... I feel rich in the knowledge Ahmed shared with us and learned so much from this visit ... Ahmed was very patient with all our queries and very organized... i would recommend him to my friends and family who will visit Egypt in the near future

Mixed feelings (but the sightseeing part was great) - The trip left me with mixed feelings. On the one hand, some of the negative reviews about the cruise turned out to be inaccurate. The strange reviews were one of the reasons I was hesitant to book this excursion, and I’m glad that my concerns were not entirely justified. Here are the details. Cons: 1. The biggest downside – the photos of the cabins and the ship do not match reality. From what I understood, the ship can change (depending on some unclear factors), and the one we got was not the one shown in the photos—keep this in mind. The room was old and had an unpleasant smell—cleaning chemicals and humidity. The shower was broken. Thankfully, hot water was available 24/7, otherwise, I would have been extremely disappointed. In general, all the photos listed that show the ship and cabins are inaccurate. Apparently, they change, and you never know which ship you’ll actually get. In our cabin, the window could not be opened. 2. Wi-Fi is not free. There is no complimentary Wi-Fi in the cabins. Everything requires an additional payment. 3. All drinks require an extra charge. Even water. This was quite strange. Pros: 1. You get to see an incredible number of landmarks. If you were to book everything on your own, it would take a lot of effort, nerves, and money. The itinerary is fantastic for those who want to explore Egypt and its historical sites. 2. The reviews about the guide were true. Our guide was Mohammed Gobran, whom I had read about in several reviews. He was knowledgeable, providing detailed explanations about each monument, and did an incredible job organizing the group and managing transportation throughout the trip. He also collected tips for the crew upfront, which prevented anyone from constantly asking us for extra gratuities (although some crew members did linger, hoping for additional tips, but the guide strictly told us not to give extra as we had already contributed $15 per person). His control over the situation significantly made our lives easier. 3. The hot air balloon ride was unfortunately canceled due to weather conditions. We were offered a refund or the option to reschedule for the next day. We requested a refund, and Viator credited $50 back to our card within a few days. *Here are some clarifications regarding questionable reviews I read before the trip*: 1) No one asked for extra tips (as long as they were pre-paid, like in our case). 2) The buffet was fine – the food varied every day. 3) Viator does refund the hot air balloon ride if it is canceled. 4) The guide did not insist that we write a review in front of him (maybe others do, but ours did not). Final Thoughts: For visiting so many historical sites, this trip was more than worth it. Given the itinerary, I tried to overlook the cramped, not-so-pleasant-smelling cabin and focused on enjoying the historical part of the journey. However, the misrepresentation of the rooms in the photos significantly impacted my overall impression of the organization.

Right. - Nile cruise, complete seeing all the temples. Mohamed is a guide who is interested in his group, because everything works well and because we are all happy. The photos do not correspond to any of the cruise you are going on, it seems as if it were chance, there are more than 100 ships to sail and you can touch any. The old rooms with the sheets with blackened balls and towels and very worn. The cleanliness of the bathroom should be improved. The food of the buffet horrifying and always the same. Price of drinks correct. There are 3/4 shops that take you to sell things (spices, perfumes and stones), losing rest time or pool. On the last day you are taken to a depressing buffet place at an abusive price. In that street you can find better options much cheaper. In general, we can recommend it halfway, but we got into other cruises and didn’t see that they were better, they all toe the line.

Nour Travel Nightmare - Currently in a hotel messaging between the tour operator Nour Travel and our travel guide regarding our pickup tomorrow to start our 4 day 3 night cruise... I arrange this holiday as an Anniversary surprise for my husband and it has not been good so far. Once I received confirmation of our cruise dates, I decided to include a couple of days in Cairo before the cruise. I had booked for Nour Travel to pick us up from Aswan airport and then to our hotel in Luxor once the cruise had finished over 21 days ago Just 2 days before the start of our holiday they advised that the date had been cancelled but they could offer us a full refund or for the cruise to start either the 14th or 16th March. I asked for an explanation but received no reply. I contacted my flight provider to see if I could change my flight time to accommodate the change of the cruise so as we could still do the balloon ride. We had to totally change the airline at an additional £150 pounds to ourselves. We also had to cancel our Luxor hotel and arrange an overnight in Aswan to accommodate their date changed. I explained I would be willing to accept the date change to the 16th March if they could garentee my pickup from the new hotel and transfer back to Luxor airport. It took 2 messages before they replied and asked for our pickup address which I gave and asked for the pickup time, again 2 messages later, they advised our tour gide would contact us the day before our cruise. Our tour guide has contacted us but advised Nour Travel has not told them to arrange pickup from our hotel and we have to meet them at KFC... This is starting to become a nightmare...... it doesn't seem as though Nour travel care about their customers....Instead of a romatic chilled Anniversary treat, it is becoming a very stressful start to our vacation.... Let’s hope Nour Travel get their act together and act like a caring travel company as per their logo Will update you further at the end of the cruise but at the moment they only get a very poor 1 from me as they knew it was our Anniversary trip but they have not made it easy so far
