Excellenct Private Transport Service to Abu Simbel from Awan - Excellent service. The operator was easily reachable. The driver was very polite and the ride was good, clean in condition and most of all very cool. Left fr the boat jetty at 6am and arrived around 9.30am. With one stop at the roadside cafe. Upon arrival, was dropped near the entrance. And the driver instructed us where he will wait. Tq Emo Tours Egypt for this service. And to Tripadvisor too.

Our tour to Abu Simbel... - Our tour to Abu Simbel was absolutely fantastic—everything about it was perfect. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, well-organized, and memorable. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took genuine care to explain everything in such a clear, engaging, and respectful manner. You could really tell he was passionate about what he was sharing. The driver was equally wonderful—punctual, courteous, and made the journey comfortable and stress-free. We felt so well taken care of throughout. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area—it truly made our trip special!

So much fun - We had a private tour with food and a tour guide to Abu Simbel. Our driver, Mohammed, was the highlight of the experience. He drove 3 hours in the desert and showed us everything that we were seeing and, also, he answered every single question that we had about Egyptian people and culture. He treated us really well and we laughed so much. We also went to a great restaurant and tried delicious traditional Nubian food. 100% recommended

Great trip to Abu Simbel - Excellent driver (Mahmoud) and a comfortable car made the long day trip enjoyable. Our guide, Hani, even helped us with our onward travel in the afternoon at the end of the tour. The tour provider, Emo Tour, provided good communication and coordination via WhatsApp.

Must do - This is a wonderful trip. It is a must see sight if you are in the area. I started my tour in aswan. The drive is about 3 hours one way in an air conditioned car. The driver speaks minimal english but he is friendly and helpful. Please note that the road closes at 5pm. So you must return back to aswan by 5pm otherwise the driver would face a fine. I did not know this fact. But the driver did not try to rush us. We were running late because we started late and stopped for lunch. But again the driver was going out of his way to accommodate our time table. I ended up offered to pay for the fine, the driver did not ask me to pay for it. Overall it was a good experience and do recommend using this tour operator.

Very pleasant excursion - Excursion reserved for two adults and two teenagers of driver type plus guide.
We have provided pictures of our passports, but no idea if it is really useful.
Comfortable and modern vehicle with air conditioning. Two drivers.
Count about 3 hours with this type of privatized vehicle. Several checkpoints along the road.
Tickets purchased on the Internet during the journey from the official Egymonuments website.
On site a coordinator finds us the guide, another group joins us.
Everything is timed on site. 1 hour to visit the two temples. I think another 15 to 30 minutes would still be comfortable considering the number of people who are there at the same time and that it is still complicated in the temples to meet, see the details, take your time and be able to take pictures without having someone foreign on it.
Little disappointment all the same on the guide who walks around with about twenty photos, gives simple explanations that can be easily remembered, but no time to ask him other questions at all. He's leaving before the tour ends. He is not allowed to enter the temples with tourists, and it is quite understandable otherwise there would be a crazy noise in the temples where all the guides would speak as loudly as possible.
Return trip to the hotel without any problems. Bakchiche given to both drivers and guide.
At the end of the day, is making a 7-hour trip for a 1-hour visit worth it? You can sleep in the car and therefore time passes faster. I would therefore say that yes it is to be done once in a lifetime.
As for the balloon flight in Luxor, compare the prices well because I don't think it brings much more by paying more.

A must do in Aswan! The best - This was one of the best services we got in egypt! The driver was very kind and arranging and helpful. Served us water and made a detour to we can have food on the way with no extra cost. We needed to be back to aswan on time and he made sure that we arrive on time. Putting good music and he let us put music also ! The guide was very informative and kind and nice. The temple is amazing and impressive and it’s definitely a must do when in aswan. Thanks for them to make this trip easy and fun.

Everything ok - Everything was good on time to pick us up on time to transfer us back. The only problem was that our guide didn't speak good English and we couldn't understand a lot of things.

The experience was great... - The experience was great overall. Our driver was very friendly and did his best to make us feel comfortable throughout. The guide was fine, although the tour felt a bit rushed at times. It was still a good tour and definitely recommendable – it would just be even better if the guide provided more in-depth explanations or allowed a bit more time at each site.

Not everything went fine - I had the tour today. Driver was very good, the guide Samir was also very good at the beginning, explaining the details, showing the maps (guides cannot get in with the tourists), pictures and everything. The tour to Abu Simbel was good until certain point. In the way to Abu Simbel and back, he tried to sell me other tours in Aswan as well, and I refused. The lunch included in my pack was not in restaurant, he gave me a bag with some food, already close to the hotel. While he went to buy this food, he left me in a spice shop, everything looked fine, good marketing. I bought some things, as I trusted him. When coming back, found lots of negative reviews of the place, they overcharge you and I don’t even know now if the products can be trusted anymore. Probably they are going to the garbage when I get home. I should give the worst score for this, but I give 2 for the driver, for the photos and for the explanation of the site at the beginning.
