Love the planet, love the earth, love all animals and men… - Via Joker Leuven/Belgium boekten we een avontuurlijke safari naar tanzania, gevolgd door enkele dagen tropisch zanzibar. Benjamin, our guide, took us to incredible game drives, seeing all the savanne habitants: Black Rhino!, elephants in hords, zebras, lions all over!, giraffes like cows next to the roads , hippo, corodiles, birds, even leopard! And 2 times shetas! One female, first one to spot! And another group of 3 brothers on the same day, the day before from far already a hunting female! The effort he took, the incredible knowledge of these animals, love for the king Lion, but great respect to all animals and humans made him the best guide you could think off! His contact with collegue-friends made this all possible for us! Buffalos, diki dikis, all kind of gnoes, gazelles and wildebeest… uncountable group of wild animals, all living in peace… Sorry to disturb your habitat… was the only thing I felt sometimes bad about, but the animals did not seem to borrow… they already seemed to know that the safari trucks do no harm… Love the planet, love the earth, love all animals and men… Ngorongoro “land of milk and honey”, where the Masai peacefully live in harmony with nature. A great experience - It was really a great experience with John Mbaga. the safari trip was perfect planned. John gave us a lot of information, and he is a very friendly funny Guy. The lodges were perfect they choose for us. they took so good care of us. We feel very welcome with John. He is very kind to other drivers also, and he gave us the chance to see the Big 5. we took very good pictures. thankyou Roy safari en John Mbaga.

Spectacular Tanzania safari! - Everything on this trip was spectacular and without one hitch!!! Nick, our safari driver was a driver, mechanic (luckily we didn’t have any issues there), an animal expert, knew the answers to all of our questions about the animals and the local customs. We were able see lions the first day as Nick spotted tracks and followed them. He found cheetahs laying by the water through the sounds of the monkeys alerting each other of danger. He also knew just where to go to see the wildebeest cross the Mara into Kenya during the migration. We got the best pictures. The hotel Retreat at Ngorongoro was better than some of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. HUGE rooms and bathrooms. Also can’t say enough about the Tanzanian people. They are the most friendly I’ve encountered. Our tour planner, Gemma was also excellent. Kept us in the loop for everything, made changes and updates when we needed and overall very professional. I would 100% recommend Roy Safari to anyone who is looking for a fantastic trip.

Tanzanian Safari! - I can't say enough about how great our trip in Tanzania was! Roy Safaris is an outstanding company. From the initial contact, through all the itinerary changes we asked for, to the final meeting in person in Arusha, Gemma was amazing in her help and responsiveness. We could not have asked for better customer service. She arranged for us to have Nick as our guide. He was THE BEST!! So knowledgeable about everything regarding the animals, the driving, Tanzanian history and culture. Nick truly made our experience one of a kind. He was also so friendly and easy going. He knew how to get us to the best viewing of animals, even noticing monkeys screeching, which indicated an animal nearby. Sure enough, there were three cheetahs lying on the bank of a river. Nick was able to safely get us up close to lions, elephants, hyenas and monkeys. The driving was not easy but Nick had it under control, even when downpours made the already rough roads even more tricky. We went to Tarangarie National Park (saw elephants and giraffes right away), Ngorongoro Crater (amazing), Central Serengeti and finally Northern Serengeti for the wildebeest migration. That did not disappoint. Our accommodations were lodges and tented camps. The tented camps were quite nice, each having a toilet and shower in the tent. Amazing! Thank you, Roy Safaris, for making this a fabulous vacation. Our party consisted of myself and three of my siblings, my husband and sister-in-law.

Once In A Lifetime Experience! - Incredible Service! Every detail was executed without a hitch. All transfers were on time and comfortable. Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. Nick was an outstanding guide during the length of our safari. He not only knew where the animals were, giving us stunning views, he also provided vast knowledge on the animals themselves. Extremely informative. The ride was comfortable, even for an average 8 hour day. We had six in our group and rotated seats, giving us a view from each row/side of the vehicle during our trip. The accommodations were excellent and ranged from Bougie to rustic (bucket shower). The food was appetizing and the facilities were modern (even in the parks!). Balloon Safari is highly recommended (even if afraid of heights - really no worries). Gemma was amazing as our coordinator and was flexible when some of our Zanzibar plans changed slightly.

Excellent trip - Gemma was very patient with us as we changed itinerary before starting our trip and she had some good suggestions. It was nice to meet her when coming to Arusha. Nick has been just the best driver! He spotted tracks when driving to find lions, he listened to monkeys to find us cheetahs and is so knowledgeable about the area that we all enjoy listening to him. Not to mention his excellent driving! The whole trip with Roy Safais has been excellent. Up close and personal with so many animals, nice places to stay (the retreat at Ngorongoro was beautiful!) and last day we saw the wildebeest migration across the Mara River! Go do it! You will never regret it 😊

Amaai - Wow: great safari! - 'Wow' what a fantastic experience! With our family of 5 we opted for a safari week in Tanzania with Roy Safaris. Together with our driver Salum we made memories for life! Salum taught us a lot with his extensive knowledge about nature and wildlife. He is a caring, calm and patient man (with 4 women he often had to make a toilet stop 😉) and we are very grateful to him for this wonderful week! Thanks to him we were able to admire beautiful scenes: the migration of wildebeest, a beautiful lion that rubbed against our jeep, 5 hunting lionesses, a crowd of zebras, gigantic giraffes, squabbling hippos, elephants that blocked the road right in front of us... Salum knew, in our spacious 4x4 jeep, to navigate there. We will often think back to Salum and beautiful Tanzania with a big smile! Hasante sana!!
