Incredible Honeymoon with Meru Slopes - We just got back from an amazing 8-night/9-day honeymoon safari in Tanzania with Meru Slopes, and we honestly can’t recommend them enough. We visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti, and Lake Manyara—each spot was so different and brought new exciting game sightings. The scenery, the wildlife, the whole experience was just unreal. Everything was super well organized, and the whole trip went off without a hitch. Our guide Max was an absolute standout. He’s been guiding for over 10 years, and his deep knowledge of the parks and animals really made the trip. He always seemed to know where to go and what to look for, and we saw so much thanks to him. It was also clear he’s really respected in the guiding community—lots of other guides greeted him by name out in the bush. On top of all that, he was an incredibly safe driver, which we really appreciated on those long stretches and bumpy roads. Jerome handled all the logistics and planning, and was fantastic from start to finish. He even helped us adjust our itinerary just a couple weeks before the trip to fit in an extra day due to a flight change, which made everything so much smoother. We also did two excursions around Arusha, and had Nickson and Edison as our guides—both were super friendly, knowledgeable, and added so much to the overall experience. We went with mid-level luxury for our accommodations, staying in a mix of bush camps and lodges, and every place we stayed at was great—super comfortable, amazing food, and beautiful settings. It was the perfect mix of comfort and adventure. This was a dream honeymoon, and Meru Slopes really made it something we’ll never forget. If you’re thinking about a safari in Tanzania, don’t hesitate—these guys are the real deal. P.s. - they surprised us with a “Just Married” wheel cover for the trip!

Meru Slopes Made Our Honeymoon Truly Unforgettable!! - Our honeymoon safari with Meru Slopes was absolutely magical! We did a 9-day trip through Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and every moment was unforgettable. Max, our guide, was amazing—kind, knowledgeable, and always knew the best spots for wildlife. Jerome made planning seamless, and Nickson and Edison went above and beyond by taking us to hot springs, a waterfall, and a coffee tour on our extra days. The whole team made us feel so well cared for and turned our dream trip into reality. Highly recommend Meru Slopes to anyone looking for the safari experience of a lifetime!

Meru slopes an excellent company and safari. - If you have found this company look no further. I was confused by all of the companies offering safaris, but having chosen Meru Slopes I have no hesitation in highly recommending them. My first contact was with Jerome. He responded immediately to my initial enquiry, and was very helpful in suggesting an itinerary based on the time of year we were visiting. His communications at all times were prompt and professional. He is a great asset to his company. We decided to take the mid-range options for hotels, as the days were long, and we didn’t think we would benefit from the luxury option. We found the mid-range lodges to be ideal for our needs. We were treated to traditional rondavel, or tented accommodation during our stay. All of which were comfortable and more than met our needs. The staff at each hotel were friendly and welcoming. The food was buffet style to enable you to choose your favourite dishes. The whole safari worked like clockwork. We were picked up at our hotel in a safari jeep and we were greeted by Jerome, who introduced us to our driver and guide. Then our journey began. There were lots of treats and highlights during the journey, which I won’t spoil, but guests from other companies appeared envious of how well we were being looked after. We saw the big 5 and more. The wildebeest migration was something else. Thank you Jerome and Meru slopes, you are the best.

- My daughter (16) and I booked an 8-day safari at Meru Slopes. We wanted to see the Big Migration, the river crossing, the Big Five, and animals with their prey. The communication process via email went very smoothly. I received a quick response, good advice, and a realistic price. I really appreciated the proactive approach taken to ensure the best possible experience. The safari week was a resounding success. We had a very experienced and professional guide who was 100% committed to our safari. We saw everything we wanted, and much more! We learned a lot from his explanations, and he also told us more about Tanzania. The accommodations and food were fantastic, especially the tented lodges in the Serengeti are highly recommended. For a carefree safari with a professional guide who caters to your needs, and for a special time in a unique wildlife world, I highly recommend Meru Slopes. We weren't bored for a second and would definitely go again.

A flawless Tanzania Safari! Meru Slopes team and Asantah guide beyond imagination - Having just finished a Tanzanian Safari arranged by Meru Slopes, I can only describe the experience as extraordinary and memorable! From start to finish, everything was wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. First, Meru Slopes' entire team was impressive. They are very responsive and receive timely and professional answers and arrangements for any needs, whether they be pre-trip consultations or trips. It makes us feel very reassured and valued. Accommodation arrangements are perfect! Whatever camp or hotel we are staying in, the conditions are excellent and impeccably clean. After the Safari run, being able to return to your comfortable, hygienic accommodation for a rest greatly enhances the comfort of your entire journey. And the brightest star of this journey is undoubtedly our guide Asantah Kheri! He's fantastic (great!!!) Easygoing and caring: The whole Asantah person is very easygoing, friendly and instantly relaxing. He truly cares about the feelings and needs of every member of the group, keeping an eye on our comfort and points of interest to ensure everyone enjoys themselves. Professional and flexible: he has a wealth of wildlife knowledge and keen observation. Not only does he know where to look for animals, but he's also more flexible in adapting routes and strategies to the actual situation, taking us through amazing animal wonders (including some hard-to-find species! Full of detail: The vehicle he drives is always kept very clean and tidy, carefully prepared before departure every day, providing us with a comfortable viewing environment. Reliable partner throughout the journey: Asantah is with us throughout the journey, not only as a guide, but also as a reliable partner and friend in the wilderness. His patience, sense of humor and professionalism make every day Safari fun and rewarding. Anyway, if you're planning Safari in Tanzania, I can't recommend Meru Slopes more strongly!

Safari Experience in East Africa - We had an incredibly positive experience with Meru Slopes during our safari in East Africa. From the very beginning, the team was highly attentive to our needs and preferences. They worked closely with us to tailor the trip, considering everything from the choice of national parks to selecting the right accommodations. Our guide, Douglas, truly made the experience unforgettable. His knowledge of the African wilderness was exceptional, and his passion for wildlife was evident throughout the journey. He was always ready to share insights, answer our endless questions, and, most impressively, he was able to locate specific animals we had hoped to see. His expertise and enthusiasm really added to the overall experience, and we cannot recommend him enough as a guide. Meru Slopes executed everything according to plan, from our smooth arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to the seamless transfer back at the end of the safari. The entire trip was well-organized, and we felt taken care of every step of the way. We can only speak highly of our time with Meru Slopes, and we would not hesitate to choose them again for future safaris.
