Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - At 8:00 AM, you will be picked up from the pickup point in Arusha to depart for Lake Manyara National Park. You will have a full-day game drive and a picnic lunch will be provided. As you enter the national park, you will be surrounded by lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees. The game drive will continue throughout the day, with a small break for a picnic lunch. During the game drive, you will have the opportunity to see buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. If you’re lucky, you might spot the famous tree-climbing lions that inhabit Lake Manyara National Park. During the right season, you can witness millions of flamingos flocking to the shoreline, turning it pink. After the game drive, you will head back to your camp or lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After enjoying an early breakfast, you will descend to the crater floor for a 5-hour game drive. During this drive, you can expect to see a variety of wildlife, such as lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many species of birds. Some of the birds you might spot include eagles, vultures, and flamingos in the Crater Lake, as well as storks, bats, giant vultures, sacred ibises, kori bustards, blacksmith plovers, long-necked herons, and cattle eagles.

After your game drive, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool. Then, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. With a 2-hour drive left to your accommodation in Karatu, the day will come to a close. You can look forward to a freshly made, delicious dinner that will be waiting for you at your chosen accommodation. After such a long safari, a good rest is essential to recharge your energy for the next day, when you will start the last leg of your journey.

Tarangire National Park and transfer to Arusha

Tarangire National Park - On the final day of your safari, you will start at 8:00 AM after a delicious breakfast. Today’s destination is Tarangire National Park, where you will enjoy a half-day game drive. Tanzania’s third-largest national park is famous for its magnificent baobab trees that scatter across the landscape, making the animals that feed beneath them appear tiny. The Tarangire River is the heart of this park, known for its vast herds of elephants that roam the area. You may also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudus, buffalos, oryx, elands, giraffes, and zebras. By mid-afternoon, you will head back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location around 6 PM.
