Great Day Hike of Kilimanjaro - This was a great day hike, getting a taste of climbing Kilimanjaro. The rainforest at the base was beautiful, and it was exciting to see the monkeys in the forest and to make it Mandara hut. I also had an excellent time with the guide Ami. He was very professional, set an excellent pace, and repeatedly checked in to ensure I was comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and scenery, and showed an in depth knowledge of the history of Kilimanjaro. He was also very entertaining and provided very interesting conversations! Overall this is a wonderful hike that will be best for those without the time or training to try for the summit!

The trip started with a flight from Dar es Salaam to the Serengeti, where we spent several days immersed in the beauty of the national park. From breathtaking landscapes to spotting the Big Five, every moment of the safari was magical. The team did an outstanding job organizing the entire experience, with excellent accommodations and incredible service. The wildlife sightings were beyond what we imagined, and the stunning Serengeti sunsets were unforgettable. After our Serengeti adventure, we traveled to Kilimanjaro for a thrilling day hike via the Marangu Route. Not worth the money, Explore other options if you can - The full day hiking was a mix of good and bad experiences. The hiking itself was good; however, I was unlucky enough to have a guide who was NOT able to communicate and answer many of my questions. Most of the times the guide hiked fast without talking as if he ran out of time and I have to catch up with his pace during the hike. Given that I was quite fit and fast myself, without communication with the guide, this experience made it felt like there was no difference from hiking alone. It was not worth the money given that other companies offered the same service but half of the price.
