Mount Kilimanjaro - The day trip kicks off with a hotel pickup from either Moshi or Arusha, followed by a comfortable drive to Marangu Gate for registration with the authorities before embarking on the much-anticipated hike. This route ascends the mountain from the southeastern side.
The primary goal for the day is to reach Mandara Hut, the initial point of a full hike. The trek will only cover the lower altitudes, with a picnic lunch enjoyed en route to Mandara Hut. Upon arrival at Mandara Hut, there will be a rest period of approximately 30 to 45 minutes before beginning the gentle descent back to the Main Gate.
The driver will be ready to take you back to your hotel, accompanied by soothing music and a choice of cold or warm Kilimanjaro beer to help alleviate any fatigue. Not only can you climb it, but you can also enjoy drinking it.
Please remember to bring a reusable water bottle.

Good day in Kilimanjaro - My Kilimanjaro day hike was an incredible experience—beautiful, challenging, and well-organized. From the hotel transfer to securing hiking passes and lunch, everything went smoothly. The team was professional and courteous. My guide was knowledgeable, fluent in English, and shared fascinating details about Kilimanjaro’s wildlife and plants. Great operator - My wife and I had an incredible Kilimanjaro day hike. Emmanuel, our friendly driver, shared insights about Moshi Town and the Chagga Village on the way to Marangu Gate. There, we met our guide, Luck, who made us feel safe and confident throughout the hike. The trail to Mandara Huts was stunning, with lush, green forests and moderate difficulty. Both Emmanuel and Luck were fantastic. I highly recommend.

Marangu day hike of Mount Kilimanjaro - I did a one day hike on Kilimanjaro to the first base camp and back, and it was an amazing experience! My guide, Luck, was incredibly attentive, making sure the pace was comfortable and taking time to answer my questions. He even offered to carry my backpack! I highly recommend Luck for unforgettable journey.

Hike on Mount Kilimanjaro - This moderately challenging hike takes you to the first camp on Mount Kilimanjaro and offers a wonderful experience in nature. Along the way, we spotted Colobus and blue monkeys, plenty of birds, and even caught a glimpse of a Dik-dik and a Suni.
My guide, Zakayo, was exceptional friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to answer my questions. He paid close attention to my pace and recognized my limitations, making the hike enjoyable and comfortable.
A good pair of hiking boots is essential for this trek! I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a memorable and well organized hiking experience.

Perfect trip. - This is a great trip for first-time hikers or anyone with a short stay in Tanzania (we were both). Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable about Kilimanjaro and Tanzania. It made the hike feel faster because we learned so much along the way, and we got to stop several times to see the monkeys! We highly recommend this 1-day execursion.
