Great tour, asante sana 🙏 - I would highly recommend this tour! We had half day free before catching our flight in the late afternoon, and this tour fit perfectly. Everything is perfectly organized, you get to do a short and easy hike to the waterfall, see the mount Kilimangiaro, and see how they grow and prepare coffee. Lunch was very good too. Mr. T (our guide) made everything simple, fun and interesting. Asante sana for everything 🙏

Very good - I had an amazing day out with Suricata. As a student solo traveler on a budget, they were really understanding and helpful in arranging everything for me with a great affordable price which suited me. I do really appreciate their support, and the good service of Ally (manger at Suricata). Couldn’t forget about Kevo as well. He was my driver. A really nice guy, cool, friendly, helpful, easy going and always smiley! Already missed him! Would highly recommend!

Gorgeous waterfall, delicious coffee and food!! - This tour is so fun and amazing!! Really appreciate how Mr T and John Jr helped as throughout the tour! They showed and explained to us about the different plants along the way to the waterfall. They helped us take really pretty photos and videos too! The waterfall is really gorgeous! And the coffee tour is so fun!! The people in the village will teach you the process from collecting beans to making coffee! The coffee makes from the beans they grow there (it’s organic too!) is one of the best coffee I ever drink!! Not to mention, the lunch we had at the end of the tour is so interesting and delicious!

a beautiful hike - We did the Materuni waterfall hike + coffee tour and I had the best experience. Mr T was my driver/photographer, along with Mr John JR and they made the whole thing a 10/10 experience. From getting the best angles at Materuni, to knowing when to film me doing activities at the coffee tour! They sang and gave facts about the different plants we see during the hike and just made the whole experience fun and memorable.

Great experience - Very nice day: nice walk to the beautiful waterfall then interesting to see the process for coffee arabica and then drink it directly. The meal was very good. "Mister T", our Guide, was great and explained a lot to us. We had our flight in the late afternoon so there was no time to go to the Chemka springs. We recommend this tour!

Great walk, great scenery, great coffee, great company - perfect! - Had an amazing trip with Mr T and Mr John or jr - they were great company throughout and looked after us very well. The walk was well worth it - views were stunning and the waterfalls provided the Wow factor at the end of it. Great meeting Justin snr and Justin Jnr and the rest of the village Chuga tribe as they showed us how to make coffee - we drank what we made (exceptional, so had to buy some to take home). Food was amazing too and we couldn’t help but get caught up in the songs they sang as they worked. Great day out from start to finish. Thank you!

Poli-Poli does it all! - Beautiful waterfalls, beautiful scenery and Kilimanjaro in the background takes your breath away. The guys at Suricata were very kind, we had to change plans at the last minute and there was no problem reorganizing. Our Twalbu Guide made our day really enjoyable.

Ask for Mr T for Materuni + Serval day trip - I did the Materuni waterfall hike + coffee tour, then I visited Serval Wildlife (instead of the Springs visit), and I had the best day!! Mr T was my driver/photographer and he made the whole thing a 10/10 experience. From getting the best angles at Materuni, to knowing when to film me doing activities at the coffee tour, and then getting me to Serval on time before my flight. Mr T also was the person who told me I could visit Serval Wildlife, since their website barely has details (they make it look like it’s accommodation only, you can do a day visit for $120USD as of Aug. 24).

Nice way to explore Tanzania - The Materuni waterfall is beautiful and the trek to it is also just as stunning. I am quite unfit but still managed to do it. Just explain to your guide you want to go slower and it’s no problem. Wear hiking boots or trainers with good grip as some areas are slippery. Afterwards was an interesting session on how they prepare coffee. You get to also meet the Chaga tribe, who are very welcoming, I actually preferred to the Masai tribe experience as this feels more authentic. They were very nice hosts. They make you the most tastiest Tanzanian meal and I recommend you try the banana beer or liquor. Finally you get taken to Chemka hot springs where you can enjoy the natural warm water with the local people. A worthwhile experience.
