Its memorable and love to come back again and do with this company - This was such an amazing adventure. I hiked up Kili in 6 days (Marangu route) with a fantastic crew of people from Gladys African polecat safaris. We made it to Uhuru peak for sunrise - such a neat experience viewing the sunrise from the highest point of the continent. I already miss the banana fritters and pancakes Lazaro made (still hard to believe they're capable of cooking 3 full meals a day on the mountain) and the laughs I shared with Damian (waiter - though he would probably be an excellent guide also). The stars above the clouds are absolutely amazing. Polecat safaris runs an excellent and responsible company. Everyone in our crew had solid gear and was treated well. James in the office was very responsive to emails and answered all of my questions. Traveling during a pandemic is an interesting experience but quite frankly I had no concerns at all during my trek (or at any time during my trip to Tanzania). I can't recommend African polecat safaris highly enough and would totally come back if I had the chance.
