Nairobi - Arusha

Arusha - Depart from Nairobi via shuttle to Arusha. Stop at Namanga Border for immigration formalities, then continue to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. Check into the hotel in Arusha, which is booked on a bed and breakfast basis. Dinner is at your leisure.

Arusha - Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara - After breakfast, travel west on a well-maintained tarmac road, crossing the gently undulating Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, observe many Maasai bomas and Maasai people in their vibrant traditional attire walking along the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts. After a two-hour drive, arrive at the Manyara gate, then proceed with a game drive. The first habitat encountered is the underground forest with water seeping from the Rift Valley escarpment. Expect to see Hippos, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Zebras, Blue monkeys, and Baboons. Dinner and overnight stay at a basic fixed tent.

Lake Manyara - Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, take a picnic lunch and drive west across the gently rolling Ngorongoro highlands. Along the way, see Zebras and wildebeests grazing alongside Maasai cattle, with young boys tending them, and Maasai villages (Bomas). Continue to Serengeti, stopping at the Nabi gate for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in central Serengeti with excellent sightings of Lions, Hippos, Giraffes, Leopards, Reedbucks, and Elephants. Dinner and overnight at a basic fixed tent.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Embark on an early morning game drive, as many animals are active during this time. Return to the camp for breakfast before heading out for another game drive in the park. In the Seronera region, wildebeests and zebras are often seen near lions and other predators such as leopards and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch, continue the journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon reaching the crater rim, enjoy stunning views of this 600 m deep collapsed volcano. Stay at the basic fixed tent.

Ngorongoro - Arusha

Arusha - After an early breakfast, leave the lodge and descend to the eighth wonder, possibly home to the largest permanent concentration of wildlife in Africa, with an estimated average of 30,000 large mammals. This is also one of the best reserves in Africa to see Black Rhino. Other sightings include Lions, Hyenas, Jackals, Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants, Zebras, and Wildebeest. After lunch, drive back to Arusha town, marking the end of the adventure.
