Afterward, enjoy lunch at the canteen before embarking on your much-anticipated hike. The journey starts in the rainforest and gradually ascends to the hills, leading up to Machame hut, the first camp on this route. Upon arrival at Machame hut, the day’s hike concludes, and the crew will welcome you with motivational songs popular among Mt. Kilimanjaro climbers. Your tents will be set up and organized, and you’ll be shown to your tent for a change. The waiter will guide you to the mess tent for coffee or tea. You’ll have time to rest or explore until dinner and the evening briefing.
Machame hut - Shira cave
Mount Kilimanjaro - The day starts early with breakfast at 7:30 am, followed by an 8:30 am hike to the second camp. Our friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable guides will explain things along the way and answer any questions you may have. They are there to ensure everything goes smoothly for you and the crew while on the mountain.
The hike to Shira cave is a bit challenging due to the hills, but maintaining a steady pace as recommended by the guide is key to success. You’ll take a break for a hot lunch along the way, ensuring you stay energized. The crew will ensure everything you need is available on time. After lunch, continue hiking until you reach Shira cave, where the day ends. At Shira cave, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and relax or explore before dinner, the evening briefing, and bedtime.
Shira cave - Baranco camp
Kilimanjaro National Park - Start the day with breakfast at 7:30 am, followed by an 8:30 am hike to the next camp. The hike to Baranco is longer as it includes a stop at Lava Tower for acclimatization. Lava Tower is a well-known junction on the Northern Circuit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, connecting multiple routes. This stop helps climbers adjust to the high elevation and altitudes of the mountain’s base camps. Lava Tower is higher than the next two camps, aiding your body’s preparation for higher altitudes.
Take a short break at Lava Tower for a hot lunch before descending to Baranco camp. Upon arrival at Baranco camp, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and relax or explore before dinner, the evening briefing, and bedtime.
Baranco camp - Barafu Camp
Kilimanjaro National Park - Begin with breakfast at 7:30 am, followed by an 8:30 am hike to the next camp. The hike to Barafu camp involves steep hills, including the well-known Baranco wall, which offers panoramic views of the mountain from the top.
After conquering Baranco wall, you’ll reach Karanga camp for a short break and hot lunch before ascending to Barafu camp, the base camp. Upon arrival at Barafu camp, everything will be prepared in advance, allowing you ample time to relax and prepare for dinner and the summit briefing. Go to bed earlier than usual, as the summit attempt begins at midnight. The waiter will wake you when it’s time, and after a quick meal, you’ll head to the summit, reaching it at dawn. Capture memorable photos before starting the descent.
Summit - Barafu camp - Millennium camp
Kilimanjaro National Park - This is one of the most adventurous and challenging days of your trip. You’ll start the descent from the summit back to Barafu camp and then to a lower elevation camp.
At Barafu camp, everything will be ready, including breakfast and lunch, giving you extra energy and time for a nap before descending to Millennium camp for the night. At Millennium camp, enjoy an early dinner and the final briefing from the guide before going to bed early to rest for the next day’s descent. Discuss with the guide the best time to thank (tip) the crew at Millennium camp to ensure you have enough time to arrange it.
Millennium Camp - Mweka gate - Arusha / Moshi
Kilimanjaro National Park - On your last day on the mountain, everyone will be excited and energized to complete the trip. Wake up at 7:00 am for breakfast and a final moment with the crew before descending to the gate. The crew will sing motivational songs with you, and you can give tips if you haven’t already arranged to do so after exiting the mountain.
Descend directly to the exit gate, passing through Mweka camp. At Mweka gate, everything will be pre-arranged. You’ll sign some checkout forms and board the shuttle back to your location. On the way, stop at a popular spot for a post-trek celebration, where you’ll receive a certificate of accomplishment and a special gift from our company.
Finally, you’ll be taken back to your hotel or lodge in Arusha or Moshi.
Arusha - Manyara and Tarangire National Park
Lake Manyara National Park - Lake Manyara National Park is home to various bird species and is often called a paradise for birds and tree-climbing lions. The park’s stunning landscapes are indescribable, and game drives along the lake offer fantastic photo opportunities with giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background.
Tarangire National Park - Tarangire National Park provides a unique wildlife experience and is home to the country’s largest elephant population. Named after the river that runs through it, the park features stunning landscapes and is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees.
Tarangire is home to the Big 4: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, and Buffalo. Nature lovers will enjoy the native vegetation, including the baobab tree, also known as the tree of life, and the park’s complex network of swamps.
Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Tarangire National Park - Named after the river that runs through its beautiful landscape, Tarangire National Park offers a unique Tanzanian experience. The park hosts the country’s largest elephant population, with herds of 300 visible during the dry season, and features other native wildlife like impalas, rhinos, and hartebeest buffalo. While safaris are popular, nature lovers will appreciate the native vegetation, including the baobab tree and the park’s intricate swamp network.
Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, pack your camping gear into your safari jeep and depart for Serengeti National Park. Travel via Manyara and through the rift valley escarpment before reaching the park. You can visit a Masai village along the way. Upon arrival in Serengeti in the evening, embark on a game drive before settling at the Seronera Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park - Start your day early at 6 am with a hot cup of coffee before departing for a morning game drive in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Witness the beautiful sunrise, but bring warm clothing for the morning chill. Continue the game drive until mid-day, then return to camp for a full breakfast and lunch, which serves as brunch. Afterward, continue the drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for a game drive en route to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - On the final day of your Tanzania Safari, enjoy breakfast before packing a picnic lunch for a short drive to the descending gate. Drive down to the crater floor, 650 meters deep, for a half-day game tour. If you’re lucky, you may spot a rhinoceros, but the crater is home to many other permanent resident animals due to the year-round water supply. After lunch, ascend to the crater rim and return to camp to collect your gear before driving back to Arusha or directly to the airport, marking the end of your 4-day Tanzania safari.
