7 Day Safari - Wow what a week! Had a fantastic time on a 7 day safari. Our guide Shafino took us all around and had so much knowledge about the area and all of the animals. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. We felt safe at all times. We really felt with got our moneys worth too. Starting early in the morning but still had time to relax at the pool side in the evenings. I would definitely recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone that would like an adventure on a safari

7 day Safari in Tanzania - Well what a week! I would just like to say how much I really enjoyed this safari. Having never been on one before I was a bit apprehensive of what I would think of it and it really lived up to its name. Having been met by Shafino at Melia Hotel who was lovely and then taken to out first accommodation. Then the following day we started the safari. Shafino drove us all around Tanzania. His knowledge of all the areas and all of the animals was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Shafino to anybody who was wanting to experience this type of holiday. I would definitely go again!

Surpassed expectations and most wonderful people - On arrival we stayed at Hotel Gran Melia which was first class. Our safari guide Haruni made us feel so welcome from day one. Great communication and service above and beyond, especially when we lost a cell phone and had to purchase a replacement! His knowledge of the parks we visited and the wildlife were remarkable for his young age. He was a great driver, navigating the bumpy roads and also an excellent spotter making sure we got to see as many animals as possible. We had a full program with night drive in Tarangire, hot air balloon ride in Serengeti (a must do) and visit to a Masai village which was super interesting and made for great pictures as well. One of our favorite parts was that we got to drive through Harunis home town and stopped for a brief visit with his family. Tanzanian people are wonderful! The accommodations throughout our trip were excellent. Unfortunately Maramboi at Lake Manyara had issues with the lake incroaching into the resort which made it a bit less enjoyable than it would be under normal circumstances. However the staff did their best to make sure we enjoyed our time and the amenities itself were very lovely. We LOVED Nyota Luxury Camp in Serengeti as well as Lions Paw on the rim of the Ngorogoro crater. The food at Lions Paw was definitely a step up but all was very good. All in all, trip of a lifetime for us. We continued on to Zanzibar, which will be a whole other review.

Once in a lifetime 7 Day Safari - We had a wonderful honeymoon safari with Gilbert as our guide at Lion King Adventures. He was kind, patient and super knowledgeable about the animals, birds, trees and plants as well as the parks. Gilbert spotted hard to find animals such as the leopard and rhino, when other guides missed them. We felt safe and well taken care of without thinking about our itinerary - the car was always well stocked with food and beverages and cleaned every morning for the day. We could sense that he takes pride in his work and loves animals and nature. Itinerary - Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti (2 days), Ngorongoro highlands and crater (stay on the crater), and Lake Manyara. We saw the big 5 , plenty of elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, hyenas, cheetah, hippos etc, and other rare animals like the Carcass cat and bat eared fox. Seeing hard to spot rhinos and leopards were the highlight. Overall the trip itself was magical - 7 days was the perfect amount to see everything we wanted. Thanks to Gilbert and Lion King Adventures for the once in a lifetime experience.

Incredibly great experience. - We were on a 7-day round trip. Tarangire, Serengeti, Ndutu, Nongorongoro and Lake Manyara. It was fantastic. Our driver Geofrey knew and found every animal. The Lion King agency has led us to dreamlike places. Warmly recommended. Geofrey our guide showered fresh every day and washed the car, which is not a given here in Tanzania. We can only recommend.

Unique and outsanding experience you will never forget - We booked a 7-day safari trip (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, lake Ndutu and Ngorongoro Crater) and stayed a couple of days outside Arusha (USA River) where we also booked some day trips (Arusha market, waterfall Kilimanjaro). The experience has been outsanding and beyond our expectations! The beauty of the landscapes and kindness of the people is really moving and we enjoyed every single moment of our journey. From the beginning the sales and customer service have been very kind and attentive. Once on the safari, our guide and driver Leonard did his outmost to let us have an ungorgettable experience. Always looking for the best spot to take pictures, ready to answer all our questions and very flexible to adapt to our wishes and needs. He accomodated us at all times. Honestly he is a 10 out of 10 and really recommend him as a guide, if you plan an unforgettable safari experience in magical Tanzania.

All Around Incredible Experience - from the planning stage to the Safari Days! Don’t hesitate! - After doing a lot of research into various safari companies in Tanzania I chose Lion King Adventures for my group of 21 people and am SO happy I did! Everything could not have been more perfect - starting with making all the arrangements with the help of Naurey, who assisted me with everything leading up to our adventure with kindness, attentiveness and professionalism. Our 4 Safari guides, Mwita, Salehe, David and Gilbert all became so special to us during our 8 days together! They were all so kind and helpful and fun to be with. They have so much enthusiasm for what they do and made sure we saw the Big 5, the Ugly 5 and SO much more! They shared information about the land, the people, the culture etc…We learned so much from them! Our Safari vehicles were in perfect condition and completely safe and comfortable. They were clean every morning when we got in them and whenever we were around groups vehicles from other companies we always felt like we were with the “coolest” company! I feel like words cannot express how absolutely amazing our safari with Lion King Adventures was and I’m already ready to plan the next one!

Amazing Trip, Beyond Expectations. Ask for Haruni! - My mother and I just finished our week long safari with Lion King Adventures and it surpassed all our expectations. I surprised her with this trip for her 70th birthday and it was just the two of us. From the accommodations, to the detailed planning everything was amazing. The highlight of the trip was our guide Haruni who went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best trip we could have ever imagined. His knowledge of the local flora and fauna was endless and his keen eye ensured that we never missed anything along the way. We felt like he was part of our family for the last week and my mother teared up when we said our goodbyes, although all great things must come to and end. I can’t recommend this company enough and make sure that you ask for Haruni!

Thank you Benjamin and Lion King Safaris - We have had the best ever holiday - far better than I could have expected. Our guide Benjamin has been fun, intelligent, knowledgeable, incredibly hard working and very kind and thoughtful. He has found every animal we wanted to see and several we did not know existed, has told us all about them and has let us thoroughly enjoy the experience. We booked for my husbands 60th birthday and Benjamin could not have been more thoughtful ensuring Alan saw all of the big cats (including a leopard), elephants, hippos, giraffes, warthogs, zebra and even rhinos just to mention a few and there were dozens more. His driving was exemplary and the vehicle was kept stocked with drinks and food throughout - the lunches were absolutely delicious.. Our accomodation has been outstanding, from luxury hotels when we arrived, to amazing individual cottages on the lake, to breathtaking top class tented accommodation in the Serengeti where we had a giraffe as a neighbour and finally to Kitela Lodge which is just the best place I have ever stayed. If you are looking for the experience of a lifetime please choose Lion King Safari and request Benjamin … and be prepared to love every single minute.

Lion King Adventures is the best. - Our 4 tour guides Salehe, Gilbert, David, and Mwita made every day more memorable and enjoyable than the last. They were always professional and friendly and knowledgeable about every bit of the tours. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience the best of Tanzania and I would only want their tour when I come back to Africa. They kept the trucks clean and our luggage and us safe. Can’t recommend the tour group enough.
