Incredible Safari Experience - We did this safari as a group of 5 friends and had the most incredible experience! Words cannot describe how amazed and thankful we were, especially for our guide Patrick - he was incredible!
Patrick was extremely kind and friendly, he ensured we were always comfortable and happy and also was so so patient whilst we battered him with questions! His knowledge is astounding, he answered everything we threw at him and was very informative and insightful. He made our trip!!
We were lucky enough to see almost every animal you could think of, and most of them within the first two days! We never could have imagined how insanely amazing this trip could be - even the camping where you could hear the wildlife around you was an experience. Amenities at the campsites were very basic, but to be expected. We also stayed at a lodge which was so lovely, and the rooms were more than adequate. The night before & after the tour we stayed at Arusha tourist inn and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, it made for a stress free experience start to finish!
Shout out to our chef Bonge as well - every meal he made was delicious, we were always full & amazed with what he could come up with, especially whilst camping! He was also so kind and friendly and even made a birthday cake for one of our friends which was very generous!
Meru Slopes was an exceptional company, Gift was very helpful and responsive as well! I would 100% recommend them and personally would book with them again in a heartbeat. Thank you again so much to everyone at Meru Slopes, especially Patrick!

Hands down best Safari ever - Meru Slopes was such an incredible company to do our African Safari with, they were super easy to communicate with and everything went so smoothly. Our Safari guide Patrick was so friendly and had a wealth of knowledge about the animals. Patrick was so patient with us and was so great at helping us see everything that we hoped for! Our chef Bonge was also amazing and the food on the tour exceeded expectations!

10/10 exceeded expectations! Patrick was the best guide! - I cannot recommend Meru Slopes highly enough! Our guide, Patrick was incredible. He had a wealth of knowledge, was very patient and I felt completely safe with him. We experienced the most incredible wildlife encounters that exceeded our expectations. Our chef Bonge prepared delicious meals daily and was kind with a great sense of humour! He even made a cake when it was one of our birthdays.
I will be recommending Meru Slopes and Patrick to my friends and family.

Great Value for the Money - I did the budget camping 6-day safari with my partner, and we had an excellent experience. The itinerary is very well organized, and you don’t have to worry about a thing – transfers and hotel accommodation for the night before and/or after the tour are included and arranged.
Our guide, Samueli, went above and beyond to make sure the group was happy. By day 3, we had already seen the majority of the most impressive animals up close, allowing us to enjoy a more relaxed safari. Samueli even took us to witness the Great Migration near the Kenyan border – something most guides don’t do. He was also respectful towards the animals, careful in his driving, and attentive to vehicle maintenance. We saw many cars broken down along the road, but ours was never one of them. A big shoutout to our cook, Rasheed, who prepared the most delicious meals even with limited resources.
The hotel in Mto wa Mbu is excellent. The campsite in Ngorongoro is good and has decent facilities (be prepared for a cold night), but the campsite in the Serengeti might be a consideration for some travelers – facilities are very basic, there was no hot water for showers, and it’s not uncommon to hear about animals wandering close to the tents. Keep that in mind when choosing your package.
We highly recommend Meru Slopes and the duo Samueli and Rasheed!

Excellent tour - My experience with Meru Slopes was wonderful. During the six days DE safari, I had the opportunity DE explore several national parks DE Tanzania, such as Tarangire, Manyara and Serengeti, where I even witnessed the great migration, a unique sight. The guide and driver were very friendly, and the chef prepared delicious meals. The value for money of the tour was excellent EN te; the accommodation, although simple, was in line with what was offered in the shared package. DE addition, I greatly appreciated the extra assistance I was given, such as a city tour and help with transportation logistics, at no additional cost. My only recommendation ENdation would be to extend the stay in the Serengeti a little longer, since, although the itinerary included three days, there were NO full days, and ES is so wonderful that it deserves at least three full days. Other DE that, everything was amazing. EN summary, I was very satisfied with Meru Slopes and hope to return EN future to enjoy a private DEluxe tour.

A safari at the top ☺️ - Extraordinary safari with our Mistletoe DE Samuel, always in good spirits and who has strong DE skills to find animals and give us information about their lifestyles. The meals prepared by Dula were delicious. The nights in the tent are an unforgettable experience!

experience was excellent - We had 6 days tour with Meru slope , it was an excellent experience! To begin with, thanks to our coordinator Jerome, he is very helpful, reply the messages quickly & efficiently , Especially when our arrival was delayed, he made sure we were picked up from bus station and had the smooth tour. Our guide Andrew is a very experienced guide, he is very knowledgeable on wild life, birds even plantations. He knows where to find the right animals, always position us at good angles to take pictures, and he is very responsible for each of his clients. Last but not the least, a big shout to our cook Buga, he cooks delicious meals with different menus every day. I highly recommend this company for Safari.

This is the best tour company did what they said they would do and much more - Jushua our guide was great
Mohommad our guid in Tanzania was great as well
They both explained each days activity and showed us all the animals

Everything was amazing and we had the best experience we could ask for! - Everything was amazing and we had the best experience we could ask for. Everything was planned into the detail!
Our guide Robert was amazing! He made a huge effort every day so we could see all the animals. His experience and knowledge were very valuable, because he was able to choose and put us always in the best spots. He quickly adapted to our group and knows a lot about all the animals and where to find them. He also drove to more far away and remote places so we could see the animals in their habitats without other jeeps nearby, which gave us a very special experience.
Gideon cooked the best food, tasted like grandma’s food, it felt like we were home, and he was always kind, happy and energetic! We were very spoiled by him!
We already miss them both! If you can choose your guide and cook, ask for them and you will not regret.
Every other guide, cook and driver that we met were also very kind and helpful. They always put the best word about Meru Slopes, it was nice to hear that they also like working with you!
We will for sure be back! And when we do, it will be with Meru Slopes!
