Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Lion King and Shabani - Sheban and Lion King We have just spent 5 days in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, arranged by Lion King. The Lion King organisation was superb. Pick up and stop offs were prompt, the land cruiser was fully kitted out including a drinks freezer fully stocked on a daily basis. Lunch was very well arranged and very good. We highly recommend Lion King as the Safari organisers. We were lucky to have had an amazing Lion King Safari guide called Shabani. Shabani is an excellent guide who successfully led us for 5 days seeing some amazing sites including the Big 5. His expertise of the area coupled with a detailed knowledge and understanding of the animals, the community, the area and the history of the people added to our experience. Above all, Shabani is a lovely person, friendly, understanding and great company. We strongly recommend Shabani as an expert guide.

Fantastic experience - We had a fantastic 5 days safari, in family with our 3 kids, thanks to our great guide Juma and LionKing. Everything was perfectly organized, with very good communication at booking time, good advices before landing. Juma has been an incredible guide, able to find the perfect places to see the animals, also those where we were the only one being able to see them..incredible memory of being alone to see lion's honeymoon. Lucky to see cheetah mum and baby and so many others! Juma is a very knowledgeable guide, providing lot of information on landscape, vegetation, animals, some history...he has been able to make this trip fantastic, being attentive to our wishes, caring also on our kids needs when needed..and last but not least with always being positive with a great smile...even after long hours of drive. We can only recommend him and the company!

Lion King Adventure highly recommended - It was such an amazing trip with Lion King Adventure which was recommended to us by friends. Everything was very well organized and the atmosphere was very welcoming throughout the trip. We were very lucky to have Macha as our tour guide. Thanks to him, we share many amazing moments together such as finding rhinos, seeing tiger puppies and being surrounded by an elephant family. His sense of humour and his deep knowledge about the animal world is very impressive. This trip would also have not been possible without the other amazing tour guides that took care of our friends and family. We very much also thank the other tour guides Mwita, Gilbert, Huruma and Immanuel for making this trip so special to us. This is a very good team!! We had so much fun together! A big thank you to all of you.

Absolutely incredible - Hill view garden hotel: We loved our time here! My husband and I (USA) stayed here for two nights before heading to Arusha, and it was a great starting point for our trip. Nickson picked us up from the airport with ease, and he was so easy to communicate with! He made prepping for our arrival and the activities we wanted to do so easy. We also did a hike to Materuni Falls through this inn and it was beautiful! It included a coffee tour and lunch as well. There were many people involved though so if you’re planning on tipping, bring small increments of money. All in all, would recommend!! Safari: We had an amazing time!!! My husband and I spent 5 days on a safari for the first half of our honeymoon and we were absolutely blown away. We saw all of the big five, and so much more. We saw two separate families of cheetahs, a leopard feasting in a tree, numerous herds of elephants, and over twenty lions! Our guide’s name was Luther Matari, and he was fantastic. He was so good at spotting animals, and he was so knowledgeable about them and the parks. He did an amazing job! We were well taken care of during the trip as well. The meals provided were delicious, and the places we stayed were awesome. We booked a mid range tour, but it felt like luxury. I would definitely recommend Luther and Lion King.

Amazing Safari experience with excellent guides - We had a fabulous experience with Lion King Adventures. They were responsive and informative throughout the booking process and helped contribute to a trip of a lifetime. We did the mid range safari experience. Our first guide, Shedrick, was brilliant. Not only was his English excellent, he made a real effort to engage with our young children and provided fascinating insights into the animals and the amazing environments we were passing through. Unfortunately on day two of the trip our jeep broke down on the way to the Serengeti. This is a reasonably common issue given the state of the roads. Luckily we were picked up and transported to the tented village in an alternative jeep of a passing contact. However, Lion King sorted logistics to provide an alternative jeep for the next day and a new guide Benjamin. Therefore, we didn’t miss any of our safari and it is important when considering which provider to go with that they have such logistical structures in place to mitigate against such risks. Benjamin was also very good as a guide, and did his upmost to ensure we saw the remaining animals we hadn’t seen on Days 1 and 2 in the Serengeti on Day 3. This included an incredible close up experience with two cheetahs which will live long in the memory. Accommodation throughout the safari was very good (the Embelakai tented village is a must and an amazing experience sleeping out in the wild, where you hear the hyenas at night!) and the picnic lunches far exceeded our expectations. These involved hot rice, and delicious curries. A particular highlight was us picnicking next to a hippo lake, which is obviously not an every day occurrence! We were amazed at how close we got to some of the animals, particularly the majestic elephants and can’t speak highly enough of the company. All of us reflected that we would love to do the safari again and our thanks go out to Shedrick, Benjamin and our lovely driver from/to airport Jafari!

Africa Safari tour. - The tour company was amazing. Got to see amazing animals in natural habitat. Freddie and Joseph were excellent tour guides. Enjoyed the Nyoman tent experience as well. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. 5-star experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone..

Lifetime experience - highly recommended! - A very well organized tour, really showing the best of the national parks. Accomodations were clean, authentic and well-equipped. They were all very close to the nature providing a unique experience. Our driver and guide, Immanuel was outstanding. 100% customer focused, always elegant, with good english, knowledgeable and fun, and very experienced driver. Would highly recommend both the company and Immanuel as a private tour guide!

The Lion (King) roars - Fantastic trip that exceeded my (very high) expectations. Our guide Immanuel was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about all the animals, what they are doing, why they are doing it and what (and especially where) they are about to do. He was very kind and always made sure we were good. He kept his car spotless clean (no mattter how dirty it was in the evening it was immaculate in the morning) and really made sure we saw everything we wanted. Not to mention, his scouting eyes were great! He can see things from far far away and anticipate where the animlas are going to go next so that we could get first row seats. He was very patient with our kids (4 and 8) and happy to host the kids of our firends that were travelling on another car. He truly made our trip special. I couldn’t be happier with choosing Lion King (that was highly reccomended by a friend) and I can only HIGHLY recommend it to any other travelers.

Incredible experience with an even more incredible guide - Our guide, Heaven knew exactly where to be at the right time, he was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He knew our time was limited so he really went above and beyond for the best experience we could have asked for!! Will be recommending him to friends and family Lion King planned a flawless trip from start to finish. My wife and I enjoyed the perfect honeymoon out in Africas finest safari followed by a trip to Zanzibar! It was more than we could have asked for! Truly a trip to remember!

Outstanding experience with a perfect organisation - Everything was very well prepared and organised by Lion King and our guide Paul Shadrack. The lodges they have chosen were perfect and much more luxurious than we expected. We had fresh and hot full meals for lunch every day, most of the other tourists who had booked with other tour operators were "only" provided with sandwiches and some snacks. We saw over 30 lions, 6 cheetahs, 3 rhinos, 2 times lions eating their kill and of course all the other animals like elephants, giraffes etc. Especially our guide Paul Shadrack made this experience outstanding. He has a very likeable nature and made sure that we enjoyed every minute of our safari. He was also very knowledgeable about the animals and the environment they live in and was able to provide all the interesting details at just the right moments. Abroad the game drives, we also had a lot of fun dueing driving from one park to another and he was able to give us a lot of information about Tanzania and the local people. All in all we can highly recommend Lion King Adventures and our guide Paul Shadrack. If we were to go on another safari in Northern Tanzania we would definitely try to book with them again.
