Amazing ! - The safari was just incredible, we were amazed during its four days! We saw a lot of animals and the landscapes were breathtaking. Our guide (Matcha) knew the different national parks by heart due to his experience and allowed us to fully enjoy this Safari. He was very attentive to our requests, available and very attentive. The guides are incredibly kind and always have a smile. The organization is very well done, everything is well planned for a good stay despite the conditions in the tent (water not always hot for showers and it is very cold at night especially in Ngorongoro. Another big thank you to our Matcha guide!!!

I would definitely book the same operator again. - We managed to see all the big five plus much more! Both our guides (Maliaki & Simon) were super knowledgeable about where the best spots were and gave us interesting Information about the animals and vegetation we were seeing. Throughout the whole safari I felt safe with the way they were driving and they were also really mindful about the wildlife. Simba our chef made incredible food, I was pleasantly surprised by the buffet he prepared every day for all of us. I don’t feel like my safari trip could have been better in any way and I definitely would recommend this operator for my family and friends.

Unforgettable days - I participated in the 4-day safari tour of the main parks of Arusha. My family and I had an absolutely positive experience. The Safari Avventura team is helpful and well organised. Inside the parks it is possible to see different animals and breathtaking landscapes every day. Seeing the animals so close up was a unique emotion. Hasheem was our Italian guide. In addition to being nice and kind, he was also perfectly prepared and very professional, he gave us all the necessary explanations so that we knew everything there was to know about the parks. It was truly a unique and unforgettable experience, if I were to return I would definitely choose Safari Avventura and our guide Hasheem again!

Outstanding service and excellent safari experience - This tour was even better than I expected! The company communicated very professionally and were very helpful with transport for hotels and airport. On the tour we had a very experienced guide/driver who found so many animals for us and knew lots about them. He was the best guide I've had in 4 weeks in Africa. The camping was fun and the support staff prepared excellent meals and helped with luggage. I would 100% recommend this company for my own friends and family!

The best driver, Penda! - It was an exiting experience in all meanings. Firstly, our driver, Penda, the best driver ever who also explained us a lot of interesting things. Secondly, the feeling with the animals and environment was marvelous. For me the best park was Ngorongoro getting into the caldera of the volcano with huge views of many kinds of animals. Thirdly the food, i couldn't imagine how good was the different types of food amd dinners. Therefore i recommend this experience 100%.

Epic trip! Ask for Omary! - We travelled with a family of 5 (3 boys of 17, 14 & 12) and we LOVED it! Saw so many animals! Our tour guide Omary was awesome and because of him we saw cheetahs and leopards and rhinos that not everyone else got to see. I would throughly recommend him. The vehicles were comfy and well maintained, u spend a lot of time in them so don’t underestimate this. I wouldn’t drive this one, I’d definitely use a local guide. The added value is massive. Especially if u get someone. Who has the knowledge of the area that Omary had. And u get so much info on the history and the animals. Super worthwhile !

1000/10 - Book Now ask for Omary!!! - There are no words that can truly express the most amazing experience I had with Travel Africa and Omary as our guide. He was so knowledgeable, had eagle eyes spotting all the things and just the most wonderful human. Highly highly recommend booking with them. It’s a life changing experience.

Very poor price-performance ratio - Very poor value for money We posted our review on this website a good two weeks ago. To date, it has not been published. In order to protect other consumers from this dubious tour operator, we ask that the following review be published as soon as possible. Safari tour review Our safari tour from August 8th to August 11th, 2023 was associated with rather negative memories. Although we saw a wide range of animals (lions, zebras, wildebeests, wild dogs, hyenas, etc.), we can remember many negative aspects: 1. General: + We saw almost all the animals we wanted to see. + / - All in all, the food was acceptable. - Despite the contractual agreement that a maximum of 6 people would travel in the jeep, two more people got on unannounced after the 5 people initially planned, which reduced the space in the jeep enormously (lack of space for storage, arguments about legroom, difficulty with visibility, etc.) - There was no dust protection for the luggage (afterwards, intensive cleaning was necessary.) 2. The guide + The guide was able to drive quite well despite the terrible road conditions, so we arrived at our destination without any major problems. - The guide only provided inaccurate and sometimes incorrect explanations about the fauna and flora when asked. - The guide clearly preferred the European passengers over the Asian passengers, although they were visibly friendly and always helpful. When the Europeans asked questions, the explanations were much more precise and cordial... Despite our great help, we never received a friendly "thank you". - The guide was extremely impatient: Although several other guides had spotted a cheetah that would probably attack within the next 10 minutes while hunting (clear signs such as restless animals, hectic behavior, etc.), the guide, after not seeing anything immediately, simply drove on, even though we had asked him to stop. Such situations were not isolated cases. - Although the cook, who normally travels in the jeep, did not travel with us and we never saw him, he was suddenly introduced to us at the end of the trip so that we could give him as much tip as possible, a rather nasty surprise. - Even when giving the tip at the end, the guide was very unfriendly, did not thank us and played on his cell phone. While other guides had bid their guests a warm and emotional farewell, we were "thrown out of the car" with an unfriendly "Bye". - The guide was very hectic because of picking up the two additional passengers without any announcements, and drove past two herds of elephants drinking in Taranghire National Park, which is famous for its elephants, despite everyone asking him to stop. - The guide's travel time planning was a disaster: we were supposed to get up at 5:00 a.m. at the campsite, breakfast was at 6:00 a.m., and we would leave at 6:30 a.m. to see the animal hunts. Breakfast ended up being at 7:00 a.m. and despite all the passengers being on time, we didn't leave until 8:00 a.m. and missed the hunting time. This and other incidents caused us to lose a lot of time. - A similar case was that the food always arrived 2 hours later than announced at lunchtime. As a result, it was only lukewarm. 3. Camping - The biggest disaster - The sleeping bags were only distributed after asking three times and were damp, wet, cold and smelled (not cleaned after the last use). - The staff at the campsite were slow and unfriendly. - The washroom and toilets were dirty and smelled terrible! - There was only ice-cold water there, despite the Ngorongoro Crater being 4 °C. - The entire campsite was covered in animal droppings. It was impossible not to step in a pile of zebra droppings. - We had to split up into two tents, with two people having to sleep in a single tent. This resulted in a massive lack of space. - With over 50 tents, there were only two showers per gender. - There was no lighting in the men's toilet at night. There was a lack of light throughout the campsite and the poorly paved paths meant there was an extremely high risk of tripping. - The hygiene situation in the kitchen could be seen from the outside. The kitchen staff did not pay much attention to cleanliness, which completely took away your already small appetite - an efficient way to save money. - Finally, the constantly late dinner took place outside in the freezing cold at around 9 p.m. A very pleasant experience for the average stomach. As a result of the poor hygiene conditions, many people caught gastrointestinal diseases, vomiting, bladder infections, colds and other wonderful infections - in short, a disease paradise. In summary, although a safari is a wonderful experience, we can only recommend choosing another company for your booking ;-)
