• Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins - This site is one of Aruba’s most remarkable historical landmarks. Once a proud mill that processed gold on the island, the Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins date back to the 1400s when Aruba was explored for its wealth. Gold prospectors eventually discovered gold mines and built this fort-like mill from stone boulders. Fun Fact: The mill was designed to look like a fort to deter pirates!
