Great for families and solo travelers - I had an amazing experience with De Palm Island Excursions! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and friendly. The island itself is a paradise with crystal clear waters and pristine beaches. The activities offered were so much fun, from snorkeling to water slides to relaxing in the hammocks. The food was delicious and the drinks were refreshing. I highly recommend De Palm Island Excursions for a memorable and enjoyable day in paradise!

A day spent relaxing with family, and I would do it again with upgraded seating - We were here from 10 am-4 pm after booking this through viator. Our excursion included transportation to and from the hotel. We were picked up in a large air-conditioned charter bus by a friendly bus driver. It was about a 20-minute ride for us. Upon arrival, we stopped at the check-in and ticketing area, which, although there were a lot of people, was organized and staffed with a couple of people to help. After checking in, we got our wristbands and "boarding pass" for the short ferry ride to De Palm Island. The island was filled with activities to do. We went snorkeling, got on the banana boat, saw a few flamingos, sat and enjoyed the breeze and some drinks. The buffet tasted like a home cooked meal and was surprisingly delicious. The drinks were unlimited but weak. The lounge chair seating was on top of each other, and walking to and from our seating was very annoying because they allowed no space to walk. There is covered seating. Be mindful of setting up under the trees because the birds were pooping on chairs and towels. Had I known, I would have upgraded and paid for a private cabana. The beach was filled with rocks. It wasn't fun navigating, so be sure to bring water shoes, or else you'll be mad you didn't. Having Bern of top rated beaches in the world, this was the worst part of the day for me. That being the case, the water was warm, and the kids had fun. There's a kiddie splash area and 3 slides for big kids and adults to enjoy. Which was fun to do. You can upgrade to add massages, snubs, and other activities. In short, it was a day spent relaxing with family, and I would do it again with upgraded seating.

Incredible snorkeling but pre-book your events - My 18 year old son and I went to DePalm Island in July 2024. For an extra $10 a person DePalm picked us up at our hotel in a nice air conditioned bus. There isn't much of a 'free beach" area. It's a small cover with maybe 50 lounge chairs. The premium area (which I did not pay for) has the same amount of room and that's where the flamingos roam freely. The flamingos did not come over to the free area. Make sure you pre-book activities. We pre-booked the Seatrek and it was amazing. I highly recommend it. The pictures were incredible and our guides were amazing. We also wanted to do snuba, but the time we finished with the SeaTrek, there were no more Snuba groups going out. That was disappointing. Please note DePalm Island is located near factories which are directly across from the island. I was surprised that the water was not crystal clear. I've been to Paradise Island, Curacao, Barbados & Bermuda and the water was crystal clear. The Aruba water was a bit cloudy except for by Baby Beach. The food and drinks on the island were very good. Even though they state on their website they are cashless, there were stands in there that requires a cash purchase such as massages, hair braiding, airbrushed tatooes, an ice cream/alcoholic beverage stand and painting on a canvas.

A great experience with beautiful flamingos - We stayed at an AirBnb we met the bus at the Renaissance Ocean Suites. The bus ride was short. The boat to get to the island was good. We rented a cabana that held 10 people. We were told it was on the adult side. There were a few kids. My daughter's friend was dancing in front of the water, while video taping herself and security came to her and told her that one of the guest requested that she stop dancing. I was livid. Who are you to tell a guest that paid to come to the island and paid for a cabana to stop dancing. I asked staff members were there rules against dancing and each of them said no. Before I left the island I did speak with a supervisor that apologized, which wasn't enough for the amount of money we paid. If you can't dance, then there needs to be something in writing. Other than that the vibe was nice. We took pictures with the flamingos and our Keisha the bartender kept the drinks coming; she had excellent customer service.

Not all inclusive as it seems. - The experience was cool to say that we went and were able to make memories as a family. but left pretty upset. The title says it’s is an all inclusive trip but what they fail to mention that to see the flamingos you have to pay extra and rent a cabana. And when we had tried to it was sold out, so if you don’t rent a cabana in time you would not be able to actually take pictures with the flamingos or see them up close as you may think. They did not have salsa classes like they said. And majority of the cool things to do you had to pay much extra and even sign up for but by the time you get there and want to, it’s sold out. So it’s not all inclusive as it seems.

Horrible. Never booking again. - I must say that we went on this tour on the 20th of July. And was very disappointed. The staff kept telling us different things and apparently seeing the flamingos was closed that day (which they never specified before hand) which was mostly the reason we wanted to go there. We weee only able to look at them from a gate, very underwhelming. The food and drinks were not good at all. I highly recommend saving your money and not coming here.

Unfortunately I can not recommend this trip - The beach was extremely rocky we could not even go in the water . Totally the opposite of what Aruba beaches are supposed to be. There fore the only water everyone was in was the kiddy pool which was overcrowded with adults looking to cool off because the ocean was not an option . We ended up leaving early along with many other families and go back to a regular beach . We were very disappointed
