Definitely worth the trip - Unbelievable scenery, clear water and plenty of sea life. Highly recommend. My friend had a great introductory dive with a confident instructor.

Fabulous diving - Alex was great guide, knowledgeable and funny. The diving was beautiful,?my only regret is not spending more time here!

To try - Good diving experiences. But the journey is very long 3 hours outward transfer and 3 hours back. The boat time is 20 minutes one way and 20 minutes return, for 2 dives as certified. Otherwise 1 dive for beginner.

Great time and great people - We had a great trip! The guides were great, the reef was beautiful, and Rodrigo was incredible helping us navigate our way from Rio to the dive shop. We were a little lost in the jumble of the city and it was amazing having his help. We would for sure do this again next time we are in Rio.

Scuba in Arraial - Had a great time, saw lots of different animals and so many different fish species, water was clear, great visibility, and a great crew on the boat

Scuba dining in Arraial do Cabo - It was truly an unforgettable experience exploring the underwater wonders. The expertise and guidance made the adventure even more enjoyable. I appreciate the opportunity to discover the beauty beneath the surface. Looking forward to more thrilling dives in the future!

Great but very wildly pricey - The divemaster was amazing and the gentleman that picked me up was awesome. Site was great, did a drift dive and a normal dive. 11m and higher. Saw moray eels, turtles and cuttlefish. Apparently not going through viator would have saved me $280 as the other divers with me only paid about $90. Feels bad man. :/

Caution - The Good….Leo our driver from Rio spoke good English, on time pick up and very pleasant. Appeared it was his first time there, couldn’t find the harbor, and once there didn’t know where the boat was. We got there on time after 3 plus hours of driving. Leo did interpreting as only 1 crew member spoke English. Leo stayed onboard while we did 2 dives were okay with the dive master checking on us regularly. Water temp very cold (65F) with 5mm wetsuit. Visibility 20-60 feet. Good ladder to get back on boat. Crew was helpful in getting equipment on and off. The bad….dive company Mr. Dive or Master Dive (?) Captain didn’t do any safety briefing, started engines while divers were in the back of the boat loading. Minimal safety briefing by dive master. We had to ask for standard pre dive briefing questions. A few equipment issues which they fixed after we pushed for it. Gauge, leaking regulator and fins issues. The dive company deals with a lot of local beginners. Group of 3 certified divers were somewhat ignored. Overall it was okay. Would not recommend. If you go through the tour operator direct, price is about half of Viator. We knew this but went through viator due to better cancellation policy and recourse if something went sideways. Previously Viator refunded us with no issues on a really bad tour last year. They stand behind their tours.

Diving in Arraial do Capo - not recommended - flop - The journey by car to the destination took longer than the time on the boat and on the water. 5.5 hours by car out of a total of 9 hours of travel. We had hoped that if we dived outside of Rio, we would have a better diving experience. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The diving equipment was pretty borderline and partly broken. Unfortunately, the diving spot was also very unspectacular and beginners (without certification) were put together with experienced divers. This is a complete rip-off and unfortunately not a pleasant diving experience. We were stressed on the boat too and everything had to go really quickly. We cannot recommend the trip. It does not justify the high price. For half the money, we could have dived directly in Rio and saved ourselves the long car journey.
