Exhilarating and exciting excursion! - Petito was a wonderful guide for us on this excursion! He was kind and enjoyed sharing about each of our stops. We enjoyed the stop at the convent bakery for special sweets. Our hike was shorter due to the recent fires and restoration happening, but we enjoyed the views nonetheless. The Paiva walkway was a bit slick so I would recommend good shoes if planning to be there during rainy season. The suspension bridge was thrilling - we enjoyed the views and we felt very secure. Overall, we were very thankful to have Petito as our guide up to Arouca. He was an expert driving up there!

Off season fun in Portugal country side. - Our host Rachel was so positive and energetic, a great host all around. The walk(which was off season but less crowded) was scenic at every turn. The food(from the sweet shop+coffee to the very hearty lunch) was perfect. Our group of 8(mostly strangers to each other)had such a blast with lots of laughter and stories shared. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to get out of the city, stretch your legs, take a walk to justify all the food you’ve eaten on vacation ;)

Do it! - Great tour. Raquel our tour guide was awesome. Everything went smoothly. Go Raquel! Super companions in our group of 8. Loved the walking, the scenery, the bridge, the countryside. Would have liked to spend more time at our first destination looking around the little town but guess you can only fit so much into a tour. The lunch was fantastic. We had a wonderful day.

Highly recommend - Everything was great! Diogo was a perfect guide, sharing interesting information and answering all my questions. Additionally, Detours was very responsive and handled all issues in the best way possible. I also want to note that, while the lunch description only mentioned meat, there were various options available, including vegetarian and pescatarian choices.

Nice walk - The walk along the suspension bridge is fine, the shame is that you can not link it with the walkways of the Paiva because due to fires it can not be done. The guide told us that he calculates that by February/March 2025 the bridge and the walkway can be linked. Now you have to take the car 15 minutes or so and you can make halfway more or less of said walkway. Also very nice the walkway
