River canyon suspension bridge and boardwalk stroll - This was a relaxing, well-planned trip to the countryside in a comfortable air-conditioned van and a small group of 6. The Arouca suspension bridge was impressive and slightly stressful, as the see-through walking surface allowed a direct view several hundred feet straight down. Then there was a long, though gentle, hour-long stroll along a wooden walkway above the river. Our guide Daniel was extremely friendly and thoughtful, checking in frequently and providing water, snack breaks, and a small amount of local history — in both Portuguese and very fluent English. Due to recent forest fires, our trip was modified to shorten the walking and add a side-trip to Aveiro for a 45-min canal boat ride which filled the afternoon. This was a nice pivot on short notice, but it was not particularly exciting or informative. Overall a low-key and enjoyable tour!

Highly recommend! - Had an amazing day trip to Peneda-Gerês National Park with Teresa as our guide—she was fun, energetic, and clearly loves what she does. The tour was stunning from start to finish. Huge kudos to the team for being so communicative and professional about adjusting the route due to recent wildfires. Everything was smooth and still unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Spectacular. Highly recommended - A very nice experience, from the beginning to the end. Pick up from the super-punctual guide Pedro, the small group with wonderful people, the views and spectacular scenery. Halfway through Pedro encouraged us to swim EN the river, putting the icing on the cake on the excursion. The food was also delicious, with a typical meat very well stewed. Highly recommended excursion. Take swimming trunks if the weather is good and cheer up!!

A day immersed in nature - Had a great time on this tour and the views were breathtaking. Was slighty worried about the hiking part but found it quite easy and safe. It was a warm day so we also went for a swim half way through the hike. Our guide Miguel was very helpful and accomodating to our needs. Last but not least the food was really good!

Theresa with Detours is amazing - Beautiful scenery. Our guide, Theresa with Detours was amazing. The hike to the bridge is well worth it. The food, oh the food with Green wine was a perfect pairing. If you are looking to travel to this area, I highly recommend Theresa with Detours.

perfectly organized - everything perfect, from the hotel pickup, the hike (despite 8km very easy because only downhill) with a very delicious, typical local lunch, a very nice guide named Andre, to the end of the trip, all 5 stars really deserved

👍🏼 - Our guide Andre was really nice. The lunch at the end of the walk was sumptuous, nothing lack of generosity. The group I was with was friendly which made the whole experience the more enjoyable.
