- C. las Lagunetas, 2 - Open the door to a magical underwater world with this beginners scuba diving experience. You can encounter a multitude of local underwater wildlife, as you delve beneath the surface of Tenerife’s waters with a professional guide.
We always start the beginners scuba diving program at 9:00 clock at the dive center which is located in El Fraile, a small distance away from Las Galletas.
The program starts with a meet and greet, filling in the required documents and explaining the time table. The briefing is always given at the dive center by our instructors or Discover Scuba leaders and the same dive professional(s) will join you for the dive activity.
At the chosen dive location you will prepare your dive equipment for the dive. This will get you familiar with the equipment you are using before you enter the water.
Your professional dive guide will then show you how to get used to breathing using the scuba gear. Once in the water there will be a few small skills to make sure you are comfortable. Then, under close guidance, you will be free to explore the fascinating underwater world of Tenerife and say hello to the “colorful locals” and having a mesmerizing time!

- As a participants you will be required to complete a Medical Statement form stating that you have no medical condition which would prevent you from diving. If you have such a medical condition then a medical certificate signed by a doctor will be required
- You must be at least 10 years of age and comfortable in the water to participate in this tour
- Flying After Diving guidelines say divers should not ascend to a high altitude after single no-decompression dives, a minimum pre-flight surface interval of 12 hours is suggested. Whenever possible, wait 24 hours
- The Discover Scuba in the Spanish language is not given by a Spanish native, however the Discover Scuba description about the rules of diving will be given with a Spanish booklet.
