Interesting and fun - It was fun, if somewhat hard work in the choppy water. We enjoyed the walk up the steps to the top of Fort Duvernette - the views were incredible. The snorkeling was also very good. Our guides were excellent and we got a nice surprise at the end because they’d taken photos and we hadn’t realized!

Great experience - We had a wonderful day. The organisation was perfect. It was a little too windy for us as beginners, but with a little help we managed it. A wonderful experience. We can only recommend everyone to visit the opposite island and the Young Island Resort at the end of the trip. A fantastic beach, crystal-clear water and an incredible view await you there. Thank you for this great day.

Amazing Experience! - I did this activity for my dad's 60th birthday who passed away when I was 12 and it was the best way to celebrate. It was such a fun activity and Cass and Kem were so lovely. I founf the Kayaking hard but they were really helpful and encouraging. Kem took us to the Fort and was really knowledgable about the Island. The snorkeling was really fun too and Kem was giving us lots of information about the wildlife as I was pretty clueless.
I was offered the pictures and wasn't going to do them but I am so glad I did as they are incredible to keep.
I would recommend this for anyone to do, it is one of the best activities I have done but it is not easy it is a workout!

Great mid day tour - Cass &Kem lead the kayaking/hiking/snorkeling tour. It’s a short kayak to Fort Duvernette, the seas were a little rough but Cass/Kem in dinghy & will tow you to Duvernette if needed. Once there you can take the steps up to 2 different view points the view is spectacular of water, Young island with St Vincent in background. Then Kem will take you across to Young island shore for snorkeling. It was fun & worth the price.

Sounds cool but was not a good experience - The kayaks have seen better days - many (if not all) the seats were broken, as were the aluminum frames, and many of the floats were missing or deflated. I don’t know if it’s that they’re scratched up or what, but you can’t see much through them. The description and pictures show a private picnic on the beach - we got some lukewarm rum punch in dixie cups. It was a struggle to get off the kayaks at the fort that resulted in at least one bruised and bloody knee and hand, after which no one was particularly interested in even trying to snorkel. When we arrived back at the beach, the transport was full, so our party of four had to wait around for an extra half hour for it to return for us. Our guide was nice enough, which is the only reason this isn’t a 1-star review.

Avoid like the plague (which might be less dangerous) - Just for some context, I've been kayaking for decades: oceans, lakes, and rivers. The object we were given to paddle was no kayak -- it was more like the love child of a dingy Tupperware container and a 1920s-era bathtub. It was too wide and too deep to steer properly in anything other than a swimming pool on a calm day. We were certainly too busy paddling for our lives to bother to gaze through the bottom. About a third of the "boats" in our group had to be towed by a powerboat to avoid being swept out to sea. I'm giving this review 2 stars instead of 1 only because the tour guide was nice and probably saved our lives in the end.
